Ahead of the Curve -- Notes from the Principal
Please be aware that our buses are being used at full capacity this year; and the Transportation Department and the bus company notified us we will not be able to accept requests from families to switch buses for after-school plans, evening events, etc. We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
School Pictures
Student pictures that were taken during the Materials Drop Off Days are available to preview and order. For information about ordering picture packages, review the attached flyer from Jostens. Visit jostenspix.com to order.

All students need to have photos taken for student ID's. If your child didn't get their picture taken at Materials Drop Off they will need to wait for the Picture Make-Up/Retake Days on October 11th and 13th.

Centennial Powerpack Program is in Full Swing for the New School Year
Thanks to our community volunteers, the Centennial Powerpack program is available for students this school year. The program provides self-serve meals, breakfast items, fruit and snacks for the weekend and are sent home with students at the end of the week. Click here if you are interested volunteering or making a donation to the program ($100 feeds a student for the entire school year). Does you student need food over the weekend? Please contact your student’s school.
Important School Meal Information
Just a reminder, meals are not free this year for all students. The federal program is not available this school year. All students will have access to meals at school and if a student does not have a bar code, the cashier will handle the charging of the meal. Menus are available online here. Chromebook Protection Plan Enrollment Open Until 9/23
With the deployment of 1:1 Chromebooks for all 6-12 grade students, families have the option to enroll in the Chromebook Protection Plan. The window to enroll in this plan is now open and will close on September 23rd. Information from the 1:1 Chromebook Handbook specific to the protection plan has been included below. Families that elect to enroll can complete the payment process through Fees portion of Parent Portal.
CHROMEBOOK PROTECTION PLAN
An optional device protection plan ($40 per year) is available for families with 6th-12th grade students to purchase annually. This plan covers the first instance of accidental damage. When enrolled in the protection plan, any additional instances of damage would be repaired through a $25 deductible. This is an elective cost and is not required. Families that qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program are eligible for the Chromebook Protection Plan at no cost. Protection Plan Enrollment and Payment
- The $40 fee for the Chromebook Protection Plan is paid online via Campus Fees in Campus Portal for Parents. Need help logging into Campus Portal? Click here for instructions
- The Chromebook Protection Plan is available for purchase at the beginning of each school year and is only available through September 23, 2021.
- You will receive a receipt at the end of your transaction. The receipt is your confirmation that the protection plan has been activated.
