No stars. This place is so unprofessional. Regardless of the staff being supportive. They move so slow. I had an appointment at 11:40 and got here on time. Some other girl came in a whole hour late and her appointment was at 10:20. She was seen before me and on top of that I have to wait for 3-5 hours before I was even seen. I just don't feel like they care enough and don't take peoples time into consideration.

The staff are truly kind and care. I am giving a one-star review because I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 9:50 on Aug 4,2021 and arrived at 9:30 to check in after a two hour drive there. I waited almost forty minutes and then they had me wait in the car because there were so many people. I did not get in to see any care provider until almost 11. I was in and out of exam rooms and waiting rooms and didn't get to complete my purpose of being there until around 3. The clinic was closed while I was in recovery and I did not leave until 3:30. Do not go to this location unless you have a day to waste. It is not their fault they are understaffed but they could definitely book to fit their staffing. It was the most irritating day in a while and I couldn't leave because I needed care.

Had a set appointment for 11:10 am on Wednesday and got there early and check in. It took five hours just to get half of a procedure done. The next day had to be there at 8:30 am didn't get procedure done until 12. Took to long. Some of the staffed seemed not to care and the rest did. Didn't give the pain medication they say they might the night before the procedure. Overall it took to long.

Every body was extremely nice and I felt very comfortable being there with what was going on. There was also a woman who held my hand during the procedure and I appreciate her a lot for that. Only downside was not knowing anesthesia was going to cost over $100 more and only finding out after being there. So I had to spend more than I was told over the phone.

Simple to schedule an appointment online. Quick check in. Appointment took longer than other places, but everyone was friendly. The building looked modern and renovated.

I really hate to give PP a bad review, but...
Came here because we are between insurance companies (due to a move) and was hoping for an inexpensive out-of-pocket visit. Paid over $200 for a routine exam. Long wait times, rushed care with provider, and I ended up with a different client's itemized billing receipt-- complete with her home address and list of care she received. Yikes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Lianna N.Greensboro, NC081Nov 22, 2019
Facility sucks. Came In at 9am & didn't leave until 4pm when they closed! Very unprofessional staff who never had any real answers. No point in having an appointment, it's first come First serve. ... still waiting currently

Experienced the worst in women's reproductive and mental healthcare here. The clinic manager was cold and not helpful after a screw up on their end leaving someone close to me in a very precarious and vulnerable situation. Their nurses are ill-equipped and under trained for the level of care they're expected of.

Call me crazy. But the term "walk-in hours," to me, means you can walk in at any time during the designated hours and be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. And that's what it USED to mean at PP. Up until mid-April when they changed their policy and also switched to limited walk-in hours. I understand they've gotten popular and are re-doing their system to better accommodate patients, but let me walk you through why I got so frustrated...
I arrived during designated "walk-in hours," and was asked if I had an appointment. I replied that I did not, but just wanted to be seen as a walk-in. She told me the next available appointment was at 7pm (three hours later). When I told her that time didn't work, she encouraged me to come back during "walk-in hours" the following day to schedule a different day-of time slot. Again: call me crazy... but how are those walk-in hours?! It's just scheduling an appointment. Which is what I decided to do while there... scheduled for a week later, rather than toying with their faux walk-in hours.
Some additional policy changes from my last gynecological exam: Be prepared to give a urine sample and receive literature and a questionnaire regarding domestic abuse. Despite my scheduled appointment, I waited in a paper gown in a room for the doctor for 20 minutes. I used to love PP for the flexibility of late hours and walk-in hours. I do really like seeing Dr. Biermann, but with the location's increasing popularity and changes in process, it's clear that it's no longer the best place for me to continue receiving basic gynecological care.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Jun 13, 2008Previous reviewSo, in the department of TMI, here goes... I am a Planned Parenthood fan. I don't know if everyone knows you can come here for annual gynecological exams and STD tests, (as well as for its planned and unplanned services). They accept walk-ins which is great and they have fantastic business hours (open till 8pm a few nights a week) for the working folk. They take many forms of insurance and stock several related prescriptions on-site (sometimes they even 'discount' birth control -- buy a certain number, get one free). There's a large waiting room that's filled with magazines. And condoms. Planned Parenthood also offers birth control prescriptions with just a consultation and without a gynecological exam. Dr. Biermann works at this location; I think she's wonderful and highly recommend her. (For more info, check out her separate review).

I've only been to one other planned parenthood and I can say that this was the better of the two. Everyone had smiling faces and welcoming vibes from the moment I walked in to the time i left. I felt like everyone cared about me and they had just met me. It was an amazing experience.
