Planned Parenthood has proven once again that its business model is more about profiting from the deaths of innocents than it is about helping people.
The abortion vendor announced on April 8 that it was launching a $2 million bilingual campaign to inform and encourage people to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Never missing an opportunity to enhance its bottom line, Planned Parenthood said its campaign would also “neutralize” fear surrounding COVID-19 vaccines by combating “mis- and disinformation about sexual health and abortion.”
Planned Parenthood affiliates in Minnesota, Montana, New York, California, and Washington plan to distribute the vaccine at their facilities or through mobile facilities at pop-up sites in restaurants and parking lots.
And of course, squeezing every dollar it can out of the COVID-19 crisis, Planned Parenthood also believes it should receive taxpayer funding for its vaccination campaign.
Juxtaposed to Planned Parenthood’s scheme to get patients into its facilities for vaccinations is the abortion behemoth’s use of COVID-19 to push for the online and mail-order sale of chemical abortion drugs. Planned Parenthood claims that the in-person visit typically required by the Food and Drug Administration to obtain the drugs due to their incredible danger to women’s health is too dangerous for women to carry out during a pandemic, necessitating the pills being sold in death-by-mail transactions.
But these fears of in-person visits for abortion drugs magically disappear when Planned Parenthood senses the opportunity to profit off of COVID-19 injections.
So, according to Planned Parenthood’s warped propaganda, people should go in person to the abortion Goliath for vaccines, but must be kept away from Planned Parenthood facilities when seeking to obtain chemical abortion drugs that kill a child and carry life-threatening risks for women.
Women far along in their pregnancies or experiencing an undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy have died from chemical abortions. About five to eight out of 100 women require surgery afterward to complete the first abortion or stop excessive bleeding. However, due to insufficient reporting, injuries and deaths related to chemical abortions are difficult to track.
If you haven’t already guessed, Planned Parenthood isn’t pushing for reduced safety standards out of concern for women. The only thing the abortion business cares about is making a profit, no matter the cost. And COVID-19 has presented it with the perfect opportunity to seize more money and more power.
While the pandemic forced other businesses to close, Planned Parenthood refused to shutter its doors, arguing that abortion is an “essential service.” Prioritizing abortion above the public well being, the corporation also treated itself to $83 million COVID-19 stimulus taxpayer money intended to save small businesses (and for which, by Planned Parenthood’s own admission, it was not eligible even to apply).
Of course, the $83 million that Planned Parenthood illegally took from small businesses is small compared to the more than $600 million in additional taxpayer dollars it received, according to its 2018-2019 annual report.
So why exactly does Planned Parenthood need more taxpayer support?
It doesn’t. But Planned Parenthood and its corrupt abortion industry allies will continue to exploit the COVID-19 crisis for financial gain as long as government officials continue to fork over our money.
The fact that Planned Parenthood values abortion over human life is despicable enough. But seeking to end more lives in the middle of a deadly pandemic, all while exploiting the crisis for personal gain? Heartless.
