Principal Attestation of School Leadership Team (SLT) Viewing of 2020-21 Webinar on Roles and Responsibilities of School and District Leadership Teams |
To be submitted by Monday, February 1, 2021
As per Commissioner’s Regulation 100.11 and Chancellor’s Regulation A-655, all schools and districts must engage in school-based planning and shared decision-making to improve the academic performance of all students. In order to support new and continuing SLT members in implementing these requirements during blended learning, the Division of the First Deputy Chancellor and the Office of Family and Community Empowerment (FACE) have developed a pre-recorded webinar on SLT and DLT roles and responsibilities. The webinar covers topics such as: SLT/DLT membership, roles, and responsibilities; CEP development and school-based budgeting; related requirements for Title I schools; and best practices, resources, and support for effective SLT/DLT operations.
SLT members are required to view this webinar together and engage in a Q&A and discussion session during your December or January SLT meeting. Collective viewing of the pre-recorded webinar will count toward the required annual SLT training for SLT member remuneration purposes.
