expose late-term abortion
day of action

The abortion industry tries to claim that late-term abortion is rare. According to a CDC report, more than 40,000 abortions were committed in the second and third trimesters in 2020.

Does that sound RARE? It’s time for a fact check.

Late-term abortion appointments are booked every single day. Yet the vast majority of Democratic politicians support abortion for any reason, through all nine months. In fact, support of abortion up until birth and for any reason is a part of the Democratic party platform! Because late-term abortion is so unpopular, they simply pretend they don't happen... conveniently, just in time for elections. It's time to expose this barbaric extremism.

Join us for a day of activism to EXPOSE late-term abortion on Wednesday, October 18th!

In cities across the country, we will be hosting two events...

  • Overpass Activism with banner and sign waving
  • National Call Night to call voters in Ohio encouraging them to VOTE NO on Issue 1, which would legalize late-term abortion (free dinner provided!)

If you can join us for one or both of these activities in a city near you, sign up here. Again, dinner will be provided at the call night in your city!

In Washington, D.C., we will be lobbying to expose late-term abortion and educate politicians on the Hill.

However, if you DON'T live in any of our event cities, you can still join the National Call Night remotely from 5-8pm ET! Just choose the "I don't live in any of these cities, but I can join the National Call Night!" option when you sign up here.

WHAT IS LATE-TERM ABORTION?

Late-term abortion is a multi-day series of abortion procedures and is typically done through a lethal injection of Digoxin. On the first day, the woman will go into the abortion facility or hospital to begin the dilation process with seaweed sticks called laminaria. These sticks naturally expand after placement, and they allow access to the baby through the cervix. The abortionist will then use an extremely long needle to inject Digoxin into the baby's heart, which will cause a cardiac arrest (commonly known as a heart attack).

On the second day, the woman will continue to be artificially dilated while still carrying the dead child. She will be administered Misoprostol to artificially stimulate uterine contractions. There may also be a second injection of Digoxin.  On the third or fourth day, the mother will deliver the dead child. You may have heard the argument that late-term abortion is only performed to save the life of the mother? How could a four-day process be the best way to save the life of a mother in danger? In the tragic case that a mother’s life is in danger, an emergency delivery is the safest and fastest option to save both mother and child!

According to a CDC report, more than 40,000 abortions were committed in the second and third trimesters in 2020.
