GMS Bulldog Bulletin
October 2021
Principal's Message
Dear Bulldog Family,
Happy October and hopefully cooler weather. It is hard to believe we have made it through the first month and a half, and nearing the end of the first quarter. Thank you so much for being supportive of our Bulldogs!!!!
Kudos to everyone for persevering this past month. It has been an eventful ride. Please continue to remind your child to take the necessary precautions in keeping themselves safe and healthy. The pandemic is alive and it is important to monitor for symptoms.
We will hold our Open House on October 27th and I am looking forward to seeing all of you. Again, thank you for your continued support, and do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything.
COVID Procedures
If a student tests positive for COVID-19, please contact the school as soon as possible so that we can begin the necessary contact tracing. If a student is placed in quarantine, parents will be notified by a school official. Quarantined students are still expected to log in and participate in virtual classes if they are healthy enough to do so. If your quarantined student begins to not feel well please notify the school as soon as possible.

Social Media Challenges
As you may be aware, there is a list of challenges that have been circulating on Tik Tok and other forms of social media. Prior issues we have had from these challenges include vandalism and theft of school property. We share this information so that you can educate your students on this issue and monitor their social media habits. We ask that you speak with your children about the serious consequences of making poor decisions and peer pressure. Please let us know how we can support you in any way to prevent further issues.
