Sato Birthday Books
We heard someone is having a birthday!
Happy Birthday!
According to our records, a student in your household has a birthday or half-birthday this month. To help you celebrate that special day, we invite you to participate in the Sato Elementary Birthday Book Program.
What is a birthday book?
How do I donate?
Visit the Beaverton School District Online Payment System, select your student from the ParentVue screen, select School Items, Donations and then Birthday Books to complete your $10 donation payment. It's easy!
How will my student select their birthday book?
Once you have made your payment, visit this form. Mrs. Fry will not be able to see your donation until you complete the form! Simply provide your student's name, teacher, student ID, and the receipt number from your online payment. Click submit, and Mrs. Fry will invite your student to browse the birthday books next time they visit the library. Birthday books include:
- Everybody Books (a mix of 'Easy to Read' and 'Read to Me' picture books)
- Early Readers (books with fewer words on each page for students just beginning to read on their own)
- Easy Chapter Books (just right for students transitioning from Early Readers to chapter books- perfect for students not yet ready for longer fiction)
- Fiction (longer chapter books for more advanced readers)
- Graphic Novels (books that use graphical elements such as panels, frames, speech bubbles, thought balloons, etc. to tell a story)
- Nonfiction (facts and true events)
