Principal's Message
I want to express my appreciation for all of our ongoing support during the start of this school year. As a learning community comprised of students, staff, families and the community, we are all here to build upon our already amazing school climate.
We will continue to focus on safety in the coming weeks. As a community, we are all here to promote layered mitigation strategies to help maintain a healthy school environment. Please continue to screen your child daily for the symptoms of COVID-19 and keep them home if they are sick. You can follow this Daily Health Checklist for guidance. If your child is expected to be out of school for 3-15 days, we can place them on a short-term independent study. Contact the office for more information.
If your child is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or if anyone tests positive that they have been in close contact with, please contact us as soon as possible.
Below you will see information about upcoming school events and meetings, and important site updates and information.

PBIS Gold Award
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success. Research shows that school climate strongly influences students' motivation to learn and improve academic achievement. When school members feel safe, valued, cared for, respected, and engaged, learning increases. Essentially, a positive school climate provides the foundation on which instruction will occur and all students will learn, therefore, the implementation of positive behavior intervention techniques is paramount for our schools’ and students’ success.
I am proud of our students and staff for being honored with this distinguished award!
