Have you spent your time over the last year bingeing true crime documentaries? Maybe you've reread all of Agatha Christie's famous whodunit novels during quarantine. Well, have we got an experience for you.
In Covered Tracks, socially distanced groups will be led through an immersive outdoor murder investigation. Meet the suspects, gather clues, and solve the crime.
Travel back to 1937 and solve the murder of a technology titan, found dead inside the Presidential Car of the train he designed himself. The eight remaining passengers are all well-known figures from high society. Now they are all suspects. One of them is the murderer, but are any of them completely innocent? You be the judge.
You and a small group of investigators will hear suspects’ testimony, gather clues and hold your own interrogations. In this immersive, interactive, outdoor experience, you’ll have the chance to interview suspects and explore our unique host sites. Book a private group with six to eight friends or purchase single tickets to be paired with a few additional super sleuths. Each small group will have a Chief Inspector to guide them along the way.
Choose from three unique locations:
Camp North End – Explore what’s new, take in the artwork and murals, and grab a drink or a bite to eat from a food stall while you walk between suspects and clues on your way to solving the murder. (Dates: April 16, 17, 23, 24)
Duke Mansion – Enjoy the gorgeous gardens and lush grounds of the Duke Mansion while searching for the murderer. Bring chairs or picnic blankets and grab a drink from the Duke Mansion bar while unraveling this mystery. (Dates: April 18 | Tickets)
Van Landingham Estate - Take in views of this newly renovated historic Charlotte estate in Plaza Midwood while you enjoy the gorgeous patio and gardens. Bring chairs or picnic blankets and grab a drink from the bar while unraveling this mystery. (Dates: April 25 | Tickets)
