Report: Pete Davidson joins “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” voice cast

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Pete Davidson has signed on to be a voice in the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts film, reported Collider.com.

The film will serve as a reboot for the Michael Bay series The Beast Wars, which originated in 2007, the report states.

The show’s storyline will serve as the concept for the motion picture film, which takes place in 1994 and follows Brooklyn-based archaeologists on a globe-trotting adventure alongside the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons.

Davidson will be cast as Mirage, an Autobot whose disguise is a silver-blue Porsche 964, according to the report.

The character was originally voiced by Francesco Quinn in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the report states.

Davidson will be cast alongside Michelle Yeoh, who will voice Maximal, and the film’s human leads Anthony Ramos and Domonique Fishback, the report said.

Moviegoers can find Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in theaters on June 9, 2023, according to Collider.com.
