STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Like his father before him, John (Tragedy) Pena Jr. is no stranger to violence.
When he was a toddler, his dad was shot on the streets of New Brighton, after reportedly telling a friend that someone was after him.
Police sources say John Pena Sr., left, was shot and killed Monday evening on Broad Street in Stapleton. His son, John Pena Jr., is currently charged in two murder cases, including one that occurred in Stapleton near where his father was killed.
