Since 1931, Red Gate Farms has been owned by the same family, giving the property a touch of true, southern hospitality on top of its stunning, natural beauty. With charming, historic ambiance, Red Gate Farms has become Savannah’s premier venue for weddings and special events. 

Horses have been a part of the Red Gate Farms family since the beginning. Today, guests can explore this special Savannah landmark on horseback or horse-drawn carriage. Occasionally our horses even make an appearance at on-property events!

Throughout Red Gate Farms’ 440 acres, you will come across manicured paddocks, 300-year-old oak trees, glistening ponds, and other stunning aspects that make up Savannah’s countryside. Blended seamlessly into the natural landscape are four distinct event venues, including the traditional Barn, restored Grainery, southern-style Belle Tower, and waterfront Pavilion.

Although you will feel like you are miles away from city life, Red Gate Farms is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Savannah. In this historic, coastal city you will find an abundance of restaurants, shops, historical sites, and museums lining Savannah's cobblestone streets.
