Recycling Economic Information Study, December 2020

RecycleCT contracted with Resource Recycling Systems (RRS) to conduct a study to estimate the economic impacts of residential recycling (mixed recycling/single stream, deposit container, paint stewardship, electronics recycling and mattress stewardship programs) in the state of Connecticut. The study identified the number of direct, indirect, and induced jobs, total labor income, and total economic output for the residential recycling sector.
