Process and eligibility

To participate, follow these steps.

1
Confirm your property's eligibility

To apply, your property must be on an approved corridor. A list of eligible blocks on commercial corridors can be found online here. For more information, email SIP@phila.gov.

2
Plan your project

If you need help applying, email SIP@phila.gov and you will be matched with a relationship manager. This person will be a City staff member or a representative from a neighborhood organization.

Your relationship manager will contact you directly. They will walk you through the process of applying for the Storefront Improvement Program.

3
Apply

After discussing improvements with your relationship manager, it’s time to apply. You can also apply without a relationship manager if you wish to do so.
