I joined Oak Ridge National Lab in the fall of 2022 as a Research Scientist for AI in Health within the Biostatistics and Multiscale Systems Modeling Group in the Computing and Computational Sciences Directorate. I am am broadly interested in stochastic processes, and how they can be applied to analyze biomedical datasets. Lately, I am excited about (I) using modern machine learning techniques, such as large language models, diffusion models, and graph neural networks to advance the state of the art in biomedical tasks like text/image classification and drug discovery, and (II) developing methods that couple physical models with machine learning to accelerate and understand biomedical systems.

Prior to joining ORNL, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Lab (2020-2022) and at Institut Pasteur (2019-2020).
