A Portland police investigation launched months ago into leaked reports that erroneously implicated City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty in a minor hit-and-run crash and later ensnared the city’s then-police union president is wrapped up and pending final review.
But it may be weeks more before the public learns anything of the investigation’s findings or potential disciplinary actions they may spur.
