👋🏻 Hi, I’m Lisa, the owner and operator of On The Nose.

I started the company in 2021 to help change the world through effective and humane communication.

My specialty is communicating about animals and their well-being, but I’m really a Jane-of-all-trades.

  • I coach non-writers to write professional, yet human-sounding bios and cover letters.

  • I write fundraising copy for email campaigns, social media, and direct mail solicitations.

  • I am a content marketing wizard, writing copy that shows off your unique expertise and gets people in the door or onto your email list.

  • I perform standup comedy, without ever feeling the need to punch down or be offensive.

  • I published an award-winning memoir, Stay: My Forever Friendship with an Aging Dog.

If you need a helping hand to communicate something important in a way that’s clear, persuasive, and humane, you’re in the right spot.

You’ve got something to say, and I’m here to help you say it — clearly, persuasively, On The Nose.

On The Nose helps people change the world through effective and humane communication.

I’d love to hear your ideas and goals. Maybe I can help you achieve them.
