National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO) Summer Conference

After two years of virtual gatherings, we are very excited to host the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO) Summer Conference, July 21-23 in Nashville, TN. We hope you can join us for impactful conversations, leadership development opportunities, mobile tours, and a chance to connect with local leaders like yourself.

During the conference, you can expect to:

Engage in discussions on HBCUs, housing, gun violence, and more.
Meet peers passionate about communities of color.
Explore issues unique to your role as an African American local elected official.

Tours available (sign up in advance):

• Tour of Uncle Nearest (1 hour from Nashville; lunch included)

• Tour of Local HBCUs and Historical Sites (boxed lunches included)

2:30 pm: Buses return to hotel

4:30 pm – 10:30 pm: Looping shuttle from the Grand Hyatt to the Jefferson Street Jazz and Blues Festival (Festival begins at 5pm and ends at 10pm. ticket included with registration)
