Former Seton Hall guard Myles Powell could be suiting up for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Former Seton Hall star Myles Powell is one step closer to reaching the NBA.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports “The Milwaukee Bucks are planning to sign guard Myles Powell of G League Westchester on a two-way contract.”

The guard had been playing for the Westchester Knicks, and impressed during his 13-game run, averaging 17.8 points per game.

According to Empire Sports Media, “As the NBA and NBPA intend to loosen the restrictions on two-way contracts this season, Powell will be eligible to play for the Bucks’ regular-season and postseason games once the board approves the revision.” The Bucks sit in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 21-14 record, 2.5 games behind the first-place Philadelphia 76ers.

Powell is one of many Jersey guys in the G League bubble. His former Seton Hall teammates Quincy McKnight and Romaro Gill are both there, as are former Roselle Catholic standouts Isaiah Briscoe and Kahlil Whitney.

And of course, ex-Patrick School standout Jonathan Kuminga is a projected top-5 NBA Draft pick while being featured on the G League Ignite team.

As for Powell, the Trenton native went undrafted after completing his run at Seton Hall last year. The Big East Player of the Year and a first-team all-American, Powell had the Pirates lined up for March Madness before the coronavirus pandemic wiped out the 2020 NCAA Tournament.
