NFL Draft 2023: Jets’ stunning QB trade; Giants’ Daniel Jones’ new toy; Eagles reload defense in latest 1st-round mock

Now this is a mock draft.

The 33rd Team is out with its latest first-round projections for the 2023 NFL Draft.

It includes a massive blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers finally moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Even better, it has the four-time NFL MVP going to the quarterback-hungry New York Jets, who have lost faith in former first-round pick Zach Wilson.

The deal includes the Jets’ first-round pick, No. 13 overall, which the Packers are projected to use on Alabama defensive back Brian Branch.

The Packers get this pick in the Rodgers trade and improve their secondary by selecting Brian Branch.

The Philadelphia Eagles have a pair of first-round picks thanks to last year’s trade with the New Orleans Saints.

At No. 10, the Eagles are projected to pick Illinois cornerback Devon Witherspoon.

He’s aggressive in the running game and proved he was capable of making plays on the ball this past season.

At No. 31, the Eagles are projected to select Clemson defensive lineman Bryan Bresee.

He could be the replacement for Fletcher Cox for years to come.

The New York Giants have picked in the top 10 in four of the last five years. But they qualified for the playoffs as an NFC Wild Card this time around, and as a result, sit at No. 25, where they are projected to pick Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt.

Jalin Hyatt gives Danny Dimes an explosive player that can run by defenders. He could make life a bit easier for Jones.
