KALAMAMAZOO, MI — The Kalamazoo City Commission approved a temporary emergency measure meant to give people shelter from the harsh winter cold.

The city commission unanimously approved the emergency ordinance on Monday, Dec. 6, after multiple citizen called in to question the project, and after a discussion by elected officials.
