The Hops are excited to announce the 2024 Dream Big Scholarship for the class of 2024. This $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a first generation college student from the Portland Metro/SW Washington area. Applications will open on January 12th, 2024. Applications will be accepted through February 11 at 11:59pm. Applicants will be notified of their status by April 1st. One time disbursement, eligibility to reapply annually.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel comprised of Hops Front Office members, Hillsboro Community Foundation members, and members of the community. Applications will be scored on essay clarity, detailed college and career goals, spelling and grammar, and overall enthusiasm.

Criteria:

Must be a graduating HS Senior from a Portland Metro Area/SW Washington school

Parents/Guardian do not have a 4-year college degree

Attending an Oregon college or university

Minimum 2.5 GPA
