A confidential report commissioned by the Massachusetts Democratic Party found that Chairman Gus Bickford violated its bylaws by “interfering” in the hotly contested race for the 1st Congressional District between Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse and longtime incumbent U.S. Rep. Richard E. Neal.

The Republican obtained a copy of the report, drafted by former state Sen. Cheryl Jacques, who interviewed dozens of witness — including members of the College Democrats of Massachusetts who raised concerns about Morse reportedly “trolling” younger students and “making them uncomfortable.”
