Leads award-winning, nationally-recognized marketing team in comprehensive, strategic communications and marketing planning, management and day-to-day efforts to enhance the College's brand and image, and promote its vision and goals to diverse audiences, both internal and external. Provides experience and leadership for a suite of related functions, including brand development and management, coordination and content for large and multi-platform social media following, video development, website design and content, digital communications, media relations, advertising, graphic design, publication development, public and government relations and crisis communications. Serves on Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association Board of Directors, and previously served on the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations Board of Directors.

Oversees the Burrow Museum, a fine and decorative arts museum at Wallace State Community College, and is responsible for administering the museum's vision, budget and calendar, including securing visiting exhibitions, guest lecturers, and other events with the help of the museum's director. Serves on the Alabama Museums Association Board of Directors.

Also coordinates the college's internationalization efforts, including annual short-term international study opportunities for students and community members, a global outreach service learning project, visits from international representatives, and other opportunities. Represents Wallace State on the Study Alabama board of directors. Conducts aspects of the college's government relations and advocacy work, in all areas at the direction of the President. A graduate of the American Association of Community College's Future Leaders Institute and the Community College Fellows Program, a public policy institute sponsored by Mississippi State University and The University of Alabama. Regularly organize short-term study and cultural trips for students and the community, visiting many locations in Europe and beyond. Also was a member of the American Association of Community Colleges delegation to China and World Education Summit in India.
