We held a global #hackathon where 160 Avalarians across 41 teams used their creativity and innovation to solve real-world business and technology challenges. 🌍💻 Teams competed to win in two categories, and the top 10 teams presented their ideas live for a chance to win the People's Choice Award. We're incredibly proud of all the participants. You all serve as an inspiration for us! Now let's talk about our winners! 🏆The Business Hack Award winners created a custom report builder for real-time data access in the VAT Reporting platform. Congratulations to Rachael Marshman, Surbhi Gupta, Sachin Shindgikar, Rory Cosgrove, Shrinath Gupta, and Will Colborn! 🏆The Technology Hack Award winners introduced a simplified process for understanding #VAT laws using #AI. Congratulations to members Abhishek Singhal, Ketan Dongaonkar, Rucha Kulkarni, and Manoj Mahalingam! 🏆The People’s Choice Award winners designed a more proficient way to automate the code review process using GenAI with GitLab and CI/CD. Congratulations to Rui Rizzi, Rodrigo Palma, Miguel Victor Campanha Manfredi, Éder Brito, Renan Tenório, Rafael Leonel Pontani, and Charles Alves! All three teams were invited to have a chat with our CEO/Founder, Scott McFarlane, about entrepreneurship. We recently had an offsite for our Customer and Compliance Operations organization with the focus of understanding the leadership vision for 2024. Leaders were able to collaborate and discuss the teamwork necessary to accomplish our goals this year. #AvaCulture
