🇳🇬 ICYMI: Africa Program Director Oge Onubogu's Congressional Testimony 🇳🇬 This week, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell travelled to Nigeria for the 6th U.S.-Nigeria Binational Commission (BNC), a high-level strategic dialogue focused on strengthening the partnership between the United States and Nigeria across a broad range of shared interests. In February, Director Oge Onubogu focused on the need for deepened US-Nigerian collaboration in her testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa. As we pause to honor the lives affected by this crisis, it's crucial to reaffirm our commitment to supporting peace, stability, and justice in the region. In the face of adversity, we must leverage knowledge and expertise to advocate for meaningful change. The Africa Program's Sudans Working Group (SWG) has been working tirelessly with professionals and Sudanese civilians to support recommendations for peacebuilding in the nation.
