  • Was among 34 athletes (including 15 rising college freshmen) invited to participate in the training camp for the 2019 USA Basketball Men’s U-19 World Cup Team, which ran June 15-18 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
 
High School
  • A near Top 150 prospect by most recruiting services, ranking No. 71 in the 2019 Rivals150 and No. 153 by 247Sports… Jumped 73 spots in the final Rivals150, which was the largest jump by any player in the country… He was also among the top shooting guard prospects nationally, placing No. 16 by Rivals, No. 26 by 247Sports, and No. 40 by ESPN.
  • Rated as the No. 3 prospect in Illinois by 247Sports, the City/Suburban Hoops Report and Chicago Sun-Times.
  • Played at Curie Metropolitan High School in Chicago, where he led the Condors to a 61-7 combined record and consecutive trips to the Class 4A State Tournament as a junior and senior… Helped the squad to a 35-2 overall record to go with conference and city championships and a third-place finish at the Class 4A State Tournament as a senior in 2018-19.
  • Earned several honors as a senior in 2018-19, including Chicago Sun-Times City Player of the Year… Selected First Team All-State honors from several groups, including Illinois Basketball Coaches Association, USA Today, Chicago Sun-Times, City/Suburban Hoops Report and the Champaign News-Gazette.

  • Registered five double-doubles (all points/rebounds) as a senior, including 20-point/10-rebound efforts against Simeon (12/13/18) and Fenger (2/5/19).
  • Grabbed at least 5 rebounds in 35 of 36 games as a senior, including five double-digit totals… Posted a season-high 13 rebounds against Chicago Marshall (2/7/19).
  • Helped Curie to a 26-5 overall record, including a second-place finish in the Chicago Public School Red South with an 8-1 mark, as a junior in 2017-18… The team advanced to the Class 4A State Tournament… Averaged 16 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line.
