Welcome to Miami-Dade County Public School’s Office of Retirement, Leave, and Reemployment Assistance (RLR).

Regardless of your position or tenure, you will likely visit the RLR office at some point during your career. Our office is staffed with experienced professionals to assist you with retirement counseling, applications for leave of absence, or questions regarding reemployment assistance benefits. Each of these services is governed by specific eligibility criteria pursuant to applicable School Board Policies, contractual agreements, and State and Federal laws.

• Retirement – We will help you navigate a smooth transition from District employee to a retiree of the Florida Retirement System (FRS).

• Leave – Obtain eligibility criteria, and information necessary to apply for a leave of absence.

• Reemployment Assistance – The RLR Office responds to Reemployment Assistance claims filed with the State of Florida.
