I loved this one. It's a short quick read that's very emotional. Andrea is a strong character. She been threw a lot. In the beginning we see pretty much everything is had fall away. I felt so bad for her and my hear ache for her. Darren meets her at her worst day but he sticks by her. I loved that Darren was understanding and patient. They form a great friendship and you can't help but to root for them to have something more.

Before I read this novella, I knew it was going to pull at my heartstrings and make me cry, and it did. It’s beautifully written and tells how Andrea loses everything precious to her. But even though she thinks her life is over, there is hope close at hand.
This story has all the feels, sad tears, happy tears, and whilst engrossed in it, I went through all the emotions. It’s a quick read and well worth sitting quietly with a cuppa while the story pulls you in.
K.M. Lowe has written this from the heart and is one of her best stories ever.

What Becomes Of A Broken Heart? is a heart pulling story about survival and moving on even though it feels like you've lost everything. Darren is Andrea's guardian angel and he remains at her side from the moment her life appears to shatter. KM Lowe has written a short story that hits hard from the beginning and has you joining her beautiful characters on an emotional journey to love and happiness. What a fantastic quick read for when you just need to sit and take a break from everything. I'm hoping KM Lowe will write more contemporary romance because it's always my favourite of hers!

A short but very emotional story and I knew it was going to be, but I read it anyway because sometimes you need a good cry.
Andrea is so happy and has so much to look forward to when life suddenly deals her the worst blow ever. Just when she thinks she's on her own, Darren is there, helping her through everything. With the strength of friends and family, can Andrea take one step at a time to try to mend her broken heart?
I loved this story, from the emotional start through to the happy ending.

This story evolves by the past and then jumps time in sequences to the events. I can't express how much emotional punch this story holds in such a short novella.
Andrea and Josh have it all together and one surprise day trip rips everything apart. Andrea is now questioning everything including why not her. But at the worst of times, firefighter Darren is there to help her and once again Andrea's life is turned into a different direction.
The power of grief, healing, family, friends and can be tough to accept. But Andrea learns what becomes of a broken heart.

Oh My goodness, what a delightful short story. Almost all of us have suffered the loss of a loved one or something special in our lives. While it hurts, it’s what we do with our hearts and our lives after the loss that makes all the difference. We can bury ourselves in self pity or honor what we lost by living our lives to the fullest. But OH MY that is easier said than done.
Ms. Lowe has written a charming heartbreaking yet heart mending short story that will most likely have you shedding a few tears but will leave you smiling and breathless when you're done. I know it did for me! This short read is uplifting and one that this reader can’t recommend enough. 2 Thumbs Up and 5+ Stars

Set in Stirling Scotland Andrea and Josh Marshall are looking forward to their first baby to arrive when tragedy happens. Two year's on this is Andrea and fire fighter Darrens story. Could this be more than friendship? Oh gosh from page one, my eyes just wouldn't stop filling up. A tear jerking short story. You just will love to read at anytime of the day. I so wish there was more chapter's added on to this little Heartbreaking story, it's a must read.

Wow what a read. This book although only short took me through all the emotions going. It’s a novella telling Andi’s story of how the worst time of your life can also bring you good. I only have one fault with this book and that is I didn’t want it to end. You never know fingers crossed Kelly might write a follow on sometime in the future. Andi and Darren need to be continued. Please.

A short emotional read. This story will take you through it all and yes there is the chance you will drop some tears as well. When tragedy strikes it brings together two people who need friendship and support and not much more. The rebuilding from ashes and the strength to keep taking one step at a time it's all here and even with this book being short you feel every emotion. Love this author and what she does between the covers.

A short story that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride! Andrea becomes braver than she thought she was after a tragedy. With the support of family and a good friend, she is able to move on. She learns just how precious life is, and she also learns that though the heart gets broken, when the broken pieces are put back together it can be just as whole as it was before it was broken. I loved Andi and Darren's story and recommend it to anyone that likes a sweet love story.

What becomes of a broken heart is a short contemporary romance. Andi and Darren have a connection like no other. After heartache it takes something very special to mend a broken heart. Follow Andi and Darren on this quick emotional rollercoaster ride to happiness.

What a heartbreakingly beautiful story! Watching Andrea grow after such awful losses was so empowering. I loved seeing her grow and find new happiness. She & Darren found each other at such a low time and their relationship brought such a smile on my face. I absolutely loved it!!

I am in love with the short the bitter sweet story. I love andrea and I love Darren them coming together after a tragedy is what true love is about.
I wish the book was longer as I would to read more of them together.

Absolutely beautiful short story. I dont always enjoy a short read as it is often hard to connect with the characters in a short space of time however K M Lowe has changed that with this story. Andrea has been through an awful tragedy that could have made her very bitter and broken. With the help of Darren she realises that there is still plenty to live for and learns to allow some joy into her life again. Beautifully written emotional and hopeful this book is am absolutely brilliant short read.

This is a short emotional story. It tells the story of Andrea and Darren. It’s an emotional read one that breaks your heart but gives you hope too, there’s so much to this story even though it’s short it really impacts on your heart. It’s a well written story with tragedy, hope, friendship, and love.

Wow this is an amazing story that will touch you and make you think. With losing everything she believes she can’t continue without Andrea learns to live again with help from Darren can he put her back together again hope builds that he can but at what cost to him. A touching story I’d highly recommend as a must read that will make cry and and think.

What an absolutely emotional short story from the fabulous KM Lowe. I only had to read the dedication to start crying, which then continued through the book. It’s not just a story about sadness but about hope. Just loved Andi and Darren’s story!

This was a pretty powerful short read. Usually we find shorts to be light hearted and fun, but that's not the case for this one. We started out with so much heartbreak. Andrea had so much to overcome and heal from. This was so heartbreakingly beautiful.

This is a story written from the heart. Each page is held together by words weaved with emotion. I had a lump in my throat from the very first page and loved every single minute of the book. Beautiful!
