The Best Mistake was sexy, hilarious and so much fun. When I finished that last page, I still had happy tears falling down my face. This book was exactly what I needed. It had friendship, family, love and made me laugh so much. So if you're a fan of romance set in college or sports romance, then definitely add this one to your tbr!
Honor was looking for a one night stand and who better to have one with then Baylor O'Brien. He was absolutely gorgeous, athletic and known for his player ways. Except Honor hooked up with Baylor's brother, Archer, and she was none the wiser. But it set Honor and Archer on a path that had me smiling and laughing from that first chapter to the last.
I loved how easy it was to connect with Honor Tierney. She was a down to Earth girl who didn't want to emotionally get hurt from a relationship. Her past had jaded her and I understood why she doubted others interest in her. But she was a wonderful friend and had such a good heart. I absolutely loved Honor, especially when she spoke her mind. Her happiness, embarrassment, nervousness all felt like mine. And a lot of those emotions were tied into her moments with Archer.
Archer O'Brien was the oldest of six siblings. And he played on a college baseball team with three other of his brothers. They were amazing and some of them were destined to go pro. But it felt like Archer had the weight of the world on his shoulders. So when Honor stumbled into his life, I loved how his worries disappeared when she was around. And even though Honor had her walls up, Archer was patient with her. Just like he was in baseball. I loved watching him try and knock down her walls. Especially since he was kind, determined, smart, humble and oh so sexy. He even had a sense of humor and made me laugh. I fell so hard for Archer!
This book was a ton of fun and I was rooting for Honor and Archer every step of the way. From awkward to embarrassment to heartfelt to steamy, they had all the moments. So when Honor got tasked with covering the baseball team Archer was on, for the school paper, I couldn't contain my excitement. I loved how their time together could turn from being so simple into something with so much heat. But family and friendship also played such a huge roll in this story. I loved Archer's siblings and Honor's close friends. They rounded out the story perfectly and I'm so excited for future books about the siblings.
So yes, I definitely recommend this book! The Best Mistake was mesmerizing, addictive and sexy! This book is for everyone out there who loves romance that melts your heart. The chemistry between Honor and Archer was addictive and the family and friendships added so much depth to this story. It all felt so real and it was so easy to devour. The Best Mistake is another huge hit by Cookie O'Gorman and I can't wait to see whose story she writes next in this world!

This is the first new adult novel I’ve read by Cookie O’Gorman, and I’m hooked. She took everything I love about her young adult books: quirky, fun characters and angsty romance, and mixed them up with older characters with more independence, but still trying to figure out life. The combination is both heart-warming and hysterical. Honor Tierney is about to finish up college, still a virgin. Baylor O’Brien has the reputation as a ladies man who leaves his partners satisfied. Who better to give her a night she’ll never forget? Unless she accidentally mistakes one O’Brien brother for another, with hilarious results. What follows is two college seniors trying to make sense of one mixed-up night that might be anything but a failed one-night stand. Add a plethora of O’Brien siblings, Honor’s diverse roommates, and more than a few sparks to ignite a series of events that are at times laugh-out-loud funny and gut-punching. While this is Honor’s and Archer’s story, I can’t wait to find out what happens with the rest of this crew! I’m so happy this is the first book in a new series.
Plot
This is a straight up romance without any real sub-plotting, but the romance drives the story so well, not much else is needed. The back and forth between what Archer wants and what Honor wants along with misconceptions and assumptions on both their parts drives the bulk of the conflict, with Archer’s siblings contributing the rest. When you put that many alpha males together, all from the same family, sparks are bound to fly. The best dialogue is between the O’Brien siblings.
Characters
O’Gorman excels at characters. Honor is equal parts smart, socially awkward, and adorable. The only thing I didn’t really like about her was how little self-esteem she has. And that didn’t really change over the course of the story the way I hoped it would. But her best friend and roommate, Charlie, more than makes up for it with an over-abundance of self-assuredness. She’s the yin to Honor’s yang. Guys fall all over themselves to be with her, except for Archer’s brother, Chase. These two need their own story, stat. Then there’s Rose, the third roommate, who I still haven’t figured out yet, and the O’Brien sister, now a freshman, who rounds out the apartment. Her best friend, June, has it bad for bad boy Baylor, and I’m convinced their story will be the best of the bunch. And above them all is the baseball coach and Mama O’Brien herself, who keeps them all in line while coaching the winningest team in college baseball.
What I Loved About THE BEST MISTAKE
1. Honor. Delightfully awkward and funny.
2. Archer. As the oldest O’Brien, he has a sense of responsibility that keeps him on the straight and narrow as his brothers devolve into drinking, brawling, and general debauchery.
3. Baseball. I miss sports of all kinds during this pandemic life we’re in now, but since it’s baseball season, I really enjoyed the ballpark scenes.
4. The O’Brien Brothers. Each is very different from the other, making for a colorful cast of characters.
5. Charlie. She was my favorite character in the book and I can’t wait for her story.
Bottom Line
A fun, fast-paced contemporary romance with plenty of laugh-out loud moments.

OH. MY. GOD. This book completely tipped me off my axis. I am so smitten with this book right now, ya'll. I am 100% here for this and you should be too.
It's no wonder why this author's books are so amazing because her storytelling is unparalleled. I first read The Good Girl's Guide to Being Bad by this author and I remember fondly that I fell totally in love with the storytelling from the get-go. Her writing voice is brilliant and she has a unique way of touching readers through the story. The narration is smooth but never dull. The connection that she makes with the reader through her words is impressive.
These characters...what can I say? They were glorious. And I am not only talking about the main characters, Honor and Archer. The entire cast of characters is amazing. I was so drawn into this story because of this stellar cast of characters. I am truly waiting with bated breath for more books in this series to release. These characters left such an impression on me. I loved the incredible representation of both family and friendship in this story. It warmed my heart so much. As for the main characters, both Honor and Archer were well-developed characters and they both had such immense growth in the story. I felt very connected to them. I also felt that they were portrayed very realistically which only made the story seem more authentic.
The romance of this story really had my heart thumping in my chest. From the embarrassing and hilarious meet-cute to the very end of the book, this couple had me invested in their love story. Honor and Archer had immediate and electric chemistry. What's more, is that they had a wonderful friendship. I was rooting for this couple from the first scene.
I really loved the plot of this story and I think that the author did a fine job of setting everything up in the story. The premise is totally riveting - a case of mistaken identity in the most humorous meet-cute leading to true love. The entire story was magical. I read this book in a single sitting because I legit couldn't put the book down.
Overall, this is another home run story from Cookie O'Gorman! I am so in love with her writing and it can only get better from here. If you liked her YA books then this NA story will blow you away. This book is a new favorite for me! I can't wait for the next book!

I was so disappointed in this one. I was honestly more interested in the side characters than I was in the main characters and I truly never thought I would say that about a book. I’ve read two other books by this author and loved them but this one definitely did not do it for me. The amount of times I rolled my eyes was astronomical and the fact that Archer was so obsessed with her from the get go just creeped me out. Also the relationship felt way too insta lovey for my taste. I was way more interested in the brothers and the roommates than with Honor and Archer. I hope the next one is about Baylor and June cause I’m genuinely interested to see how that’ll go.

College Baseball Romance.
I’m in two minds over this book. I didn’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. I hung in there till the end to see what transpired but it got difficult to finish. It had elements that I do enjoy reading about, college romance, family loyalty and dedication, some good humor and banter. There were also parts I didn’t love as well. It was a little too perfect, even though the brothers each had a quirk or issue they all seemed to be impeccable in what they did. Even our heroine was super sweet and near flawless. I know I say this in a few reviews, but I am not a fan of convenience writing - where things happen and it’s not quite a character trait or it’s going against what is a more reasonable or realistic outcome, but because it suits the storyline better, things are said / done / added and it either feels false or unauthentic. The writing wasn’t bad per se but it definitely needing some more edits or polishing. I’ll have to see if I’m ready to head back to Southern U and find out what’s up next with Chase.
Lastly, yes I am that girl. I have in the past taken books where I go but now it’s my iPad. It travels with me to most places. And I have whipped it out at a concert once when I got bored. Books are more fun than nearly anything else to do.

Review:
The author is my favourite ever since I read Adorkable as she writes adorable stories. This one was dedicated to girls like Honor and you and me. Honor is introduced as the girl in a frat house party clutching a copy of Jane Eyre (I so want to read it now, sitting pretty on my shelf since last year when I got a copy). She has book boyfriends, she dreams about them, she always has a book in her arms.
Twenty-one-year-old Honor and her friend have come up with The Plan and for its execution, they need the playboy O'Brien. There are six O'Brien siblings in all, the oldest Archer, followed by the twins Baylor and Chase, Dexter, Emilia the freshman, and the youngest at seventeen Finn. She mistakes the eldest O'Brien for the one she was chasing after. I just love O'Gorman's characters and their sporty family bonding!
As much bonding as there is between the O'Brien family, it is quite the opposite for Honor. And therein also lies the reason she fears falling in love. A perfect slow-burn new adult romance where the build-up is such a sweet one. Archer is too good to Honor, and Honor is what Archer needed. They complement each other beautifully and are exactly what the other deserves. When Honor interviews Archer, it had me sighing all along.
Cookie O'Gorman's stories always have humour at just the right places, even though the burden that there always was on young Archer's shoulders seemed a bit unfair to me. But, the O'Brien siblings' shenanigans all through the story made up for it and the incident right at the end was the best of them all!
P.S. I need to read Outlander, like, right now. Sigh!
“It’s not like one more Corona would've killed me."
I did a double-take at that. Of course, due to the present circumstances, before I remembered about the brand!

Real life has too many tragedies. Happily-ever-after is something to strive for not scoff at. Being happy is one of the bravest things you can be.

I don't read sports romance much but when the author approached me for the review opportunity, I couldn't resist because Cookie's books are always fun and adorkable. So far, I've enjoyed all the books I've read by this author, so why not. As expected, this book was so much fun to read even though it has a predictable plotline. The story was sexy, hilarious, and fun. I quite enjoyed both the main characters and their romance was definitely swoon worthy. This was actually the author's first new adult romance and she did a great job.
The story follows Honor Tierney and Archer O'Brien. Honor has entered her college life but she's still a virgin. To get rid of her v-card she attends the college party to have a one night stand with the notorious player Baylor O’Brien. She never saw him and mistook Archer for Baylor. Archer is the oldest of the O'Brien brothers and the responsible one who looked after his team. In the room, when Honor finally discovers her mistake, she quickly escapes but Archer is determined to pursue her. He tries to convince her that they're right for each other. Honor tries to avoid him but things get hard for her when she's assigned to cover the Wolves baseball team and hence begins the start of something new.
Honor is a pretty likeable, smart, and relatable character. She's a cute dork who loves reading and writing articles for her campus newspaper. Archer is absolutely swoon worthy. He's very protective of his family and his charming personality stole my heart. The romance between Honor and Archer was well developed. It was cute how their relationship grew from friendship to love. I enjoyed all the interactions between them. The other four O'Brien brothers were also pretty interesting. We have twins Baylor and Chase. They're total opposite to each others personalities. On one side we have Baylor, the notorious playboy, and on the other side we have Chase, a shy and charming nerd. He prefers books more than girls. Next we have tough Bad boy Dex. He's not a very friendly type of guy and his answers are always one worded. He's a mysterious character and my kind of guy. And last but not the least there's Finn, the clever brother in the group. Honestly, I enjoyed every one of them including the O'Brien sister Emmy who's also honor's roommate.
The storyline was fun and very much entertaining. Despite the predictability, I enjoyed every aspect of it. The characters made this book even more fun to read. The pacing was good and I'm glad that it doesn't have any draggy parts. The romance was cute with enough heat. I'm glad the story also focused on family relationships, and friendship. I loved Cookie's writing style. It was simple and easy to understand. And also loved the dual POVs.
Overall, It was a good read! The story was fun and cute, and not too cheesy. I can't wait to read the other boys stories and I hope it's either Chase or Dex story next.

I don't read sports romance much but when the author approached me for the review opportunity, I couldn't resist because Cookie's books are always fun and adorkable. So far, I've enjoyed all the books I've read by this author, so why not. As expected, this book was so much fun to read even though it has a predictable plotline. The story was sexy, hilarious, and fun. I quite enjoyed both the main characters and their romance was definitely swoon worthy. This was actually the author's first new adult romance and she did a great job.
The story follows Honor Tierney and Archer O'Brien. Honor has entered her college life but she's still a virgin. To get rid of her v-card she attends the college party to have a one night stand with the notorious player Baylor O’Brien. She never saw him and mistook Archer for Baylor. Archer is the oldest of the O'Brien brothers and the responsible one who looked after his team. In the room, when Honor finally discovers her mistake, she quickly escapes but Archer is determined to pursue her. He tries to convince her that they're right for each other. Honor tries to avoid him but things get hard for her when she's assigned to cover the Wolves baseball team and hence begins the start of something new.
Honor is a pretty likeable, smart, and relatable character. She's a cute dork who loves reading and writing articles for her campus newspaper. Archer is absolutely swoon worthy. He's very protective of his family and his charming personality stole my heart. The romance between Honor and Archer was well developed. It was cute how their relationship grew from friendship to love. I enjoyed all the interactions between them. The other four O'Brien brothers were also pretty interesting. We have twins Baylor and Chase. They're total opposite to each others personalities. On one side we have Baylor, the notorious playboy, and on the other side we have Chase, a shy and charming nerd. He prefers books more than girls. Next we have tough Bad boy Dex. He's not a very friendly type of guy and his answers are always one worded. He's a mysterious character and my kind of guy. And last but not the least there's Finn, the clever brother in the group. Honestly, I enjoyed every one of them including the O'Brien sister Emmy who's also honor's roommate.
The storyline was fun and very much entertaining. Despite the predictability, I enjoyed every aspect of it. The characters made this book even more fun to read. The Best Mistake is a sweet, new adult romance. This was the author’s first venture into the new adult world and it was a very solid start. It’s a pretty clean new addition to this category though. Honor is a book lover, journalist/accountant and quite innocent. She decides that she wants a college hookup, and who better to do that, than the campus playboy; only problem is she ends up in the bed of the wrong brother! Archer is the oldest, captain of the baseball team, responsible, driven, and kind. Honor ends up mistaking him for his brother. Things get super awkward, but these two have a ton of chemistry. As fate would have it, Honor gets assigned a story for the baseball team and comes face to face with Archer again. They begin a tentative friendship, that turns to more. These two were so adorable together. I will say Honor was a really hard character to get a read on. She sent so many mixed signals, and with all her interests, she definitely doesn’t fit in one box. Archer was much easier to like, even when he made terrible decisions. It sounds like this might be a series, and I cannot wait, because the scenes with the brothers were great! This was a quick, cute, clean new adult and I would recommend it.

"The Best Mistake" by Cookie O'Gorman deserves 5 golden stars!
At the Author's Acknowledgement section, the author stated, "I hope it made you laugh/swoon/geek out lol." I most definitely did! I just wanted to start off with saying that I love Cookie O'Gorman's writing style. She is literally an insta-buy author for me. I promise you that if you ever read a Cookie O'Gorman book, you will have a smile on your face on multiple occasions. I truly consider this author the Queen of Sweet Romances.
"The Best Mistake" revolves around Honor Tierney and Archer O'Brien. These two characters have a mistaken identity situation, but as stated by the title, it was the best mistake these two have ever had. Their instant connection felt very convincing to me. I've read books in the past where the main characters have an instant "connection", but the dialogue and interaction with the characters just doesn't seem right. The way Honor and Archer first met and interacted with one another just felt so genuine in my eyes/heart.
More great things that I loved about this story were all of the baseball loving O'Brien Brothers! All of the brothers were so compelling in positively different ways. The oldest brother, Archer, was the often frowning mother bear who always took care of his family and loved them to death. Next were the twins, Baylor and Chase. Baylor was the cocky playboy who doesn't see the good in him, while Chase was my romantic bookworm prince. Then there were Dex, who was the scarred bad boy whose mysteries I want to unravel, and the last brother Finn, the clever younger brother that I wished I knew more of. The O'Brien sister, Emmy, was even a winner in my book too because I loved her devoted heart to her family and friends. I seriously cannot wait to read every single one of their stories! But please lord I need Chase's story as soon as possible! I NEED his story in my life! Chase is waiting to meet his soulmate, and I volunteer as tribute! Chase's romantic nature is after my own heart. Plus he was a book lover as well! I love that so much!
Now I will mention a few minor critiques/opinions. I wish the story could have been a bit longer. I absolutely loved reading the Archer/Honor interactions scenes, and I wish I got more of those sweet moments. I swooned every time they were together, and I wanted more of it! Also, Honor was a major bookworm as well, and I wish there were more geeking out scenes about books. Speaking of geeking out, I loved how Archer told Honor he was a Slytherin! It makes me wonder what would be Honor's Hogwarts House. I consider her a mix between a Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff (Ravenpuff!). Lastly, there was one thing that I wished I could have really changed in the story. I don't want to spoil anything major, but I will just say that Archer did something quite immature that did not fit his character and was not right for his relationship with Honor. I know his motive was not ill will, but rather full of care. I still really love Archer, but I think he could have handled the situation in a more mature, upfront manner.
As previously mentioned, "The Best Mistake" by Cookie O'Gorman is a 5 star rating for me. If you love sweet romances that make you squeal in happiness, I highly recommend this book and all of the other books written by Cookie O'Gorman. The Best Mistake was my first time reading anything written by Cookie O”Gorman, and it didn’t disappoint. Generally New Adult is not always my favorite genre, but I was captivated by Honor and Archers story from the very first chapter.
I loved the character of Honor. She is fun and quirky. He has a lot of self-doubt and trust issues to wade through due to some personal history. I do not typically enjoy the new adult genre often because the characters are immature, it also sometimes comes off as “high school” this was not the case by O’Gorman. She wrote Honor as if she has been carrying the whole world for her lifetime. So much so that she has not even attend a college party. She is a senior and hasn’t even had a boyfriend or sex.
Archer O’Brien has a lot more depth than I thought a college athlete would have. He is super thoughtful. He has such a seriousness about him. His sense of responsibility for his family makes him even more desirable. All this plus being a star baseball player makes him a completely swoon worthy character. His familiar relationships play a huge part in this story line. As with any large Irish family they are constantly in each other’s business.
The meet cute between these two was steamy and simply perfect but at the moment when says the wrong brothers name you just know this story is going to have its share of push and pull between Honor and Archer.
The supporting characters in this story also have a lot of potential. I can’t wait for their stories. They all add something to the storyline. Sometimes if there is a large cast of supporting characters the story becomes muddled. O’Gorman made sure that it was very clearly Honor and Archer’s story and the supporting characters did not distract from the main story.

The way she forgot to care for her family when she was with one, the way she didn’t care for herself when they left, I wanted no part of it. And what if that all-or-nothing mindset was hereditary? I��d never been with a guy, so I wouldn’t know.’-

This book is very different from her usual writing style. There is swearing and sex in this one. For a first attempt at NA, I think she did a great job. Very sexy. Hot. It’s a bit beyond my comfort zone but it is well written. The story develops at a good pace and revelations are made with great timing. The characters are realistic and completely engaging. I felt like I’d love to meet them in real life and I definitely had my favourites. While I prefer her YA books, I think she is also well suited to this genre. Congratulations on your new book!

This is Honor and Archer’s story. Honor is going to have one hot night and go back to her plain and boring life. Archer is trying to keep his brother’s in line. He is having trouble until Honor comes to him and mistakes him for his brother. He takes full advantage and wants her for himself. But she is hard to pin down. When she gets assigned to cover the baseball team, he knows he has her. He just must win her over to his ways. He will use everything he has to get her even his own brothers and they craziness they can get up to. Will he finally get her to fall for him?
I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

Super enjoyable. Maybe it was a mistake or maybe it was fate, but from the first glance Honor and Archer were set for a grand love affair. A case of mistaken identity causes one night to replay on loop. The cosmos just keeps pushing them together between her newspaper assignment. to Archer's sister moving into Honor's apartment. Archer, the eldest and broody brother doesn't have time for distractions from playing baseball. Honor, the introverted bookworm is looking for that one special college experience. It is fun and entertaining watching Honor and Archer dance around their feelings. This was a heartfelt love story that left me with a smile on my face.

As the eldest O’Brien sibling and the captain of the Baseball team and takes his role very seriously and does his best to manage other’s behaviors and choices. Although you can understand his motives some of his choices and actions were a tad frustrating, but he is quite redeemable.
The chemistry this pair shares is undeniable, despite a case of mistaken identity, and I love the friendship that they develop over the course of their story.

Another sweet, fun read from Cookie O'Gorman! I remember reading and loving Adorkable, so I knew I wanted to read this one as soon as I saw it.
Honor and Archer were great characters with unexpected chemistry. It was fun watching them grow closer as their paths kept crossing. Their story was sweet and entertaining. The secondary characters also added a lot of fun and humor, and I am looking forward to reading their stories.
This book has cemented Cookie O'Gorman on my must read list!

Oh my goodness The Best Mistake was amazing. Definitely not a mistake to read and it got me out of my most recent reading slump. This is one of the first books in a while I told my hubby to 'be quiet' because I was reading. The Best Mistake is definitely a must-read.
Honor wanted one night out to be a "wild woman" and lose her virginity. Having heard the rumors about Baylor O'Brien and his reputation of being good and not choosey in bed Honor and her best friend made a plan to catch his attention. Archer thinks he's the luckiest guy ever when Honor follows him into his room but realizes pretty quickly that she's mistaken him for his brother. When Honor's newspaper publisher wants her to do a story on the family she comes face-to-face with the guy she's been dreaming about and realizes she almost slept with the "wrong guy."
This was such a cute read. Archer and Honor's relationship was adorable. I totally felt for both characters which is totally a testament to good writing. I loved Honor and how despite her loving happy endings she was afraid to be in love. Archer has done nothing but take care of his family since his father passed away and Honor is the first girl he's wanted in a very long time. I loved the slow burn their relationship had and how everything wasn't about the sexy times.
If I have any issue with this book it's the quick ending. I would have loved to see what happened after everything, but maybe we'll see that in subsequent books.

The Best Mistake was a two-hit punch for me. Brand spanking new author (hi Cookie! adorable name!) and first in a new - new adult series. Based on that yummy cover and intriguing blurb, I was all kinds of excited for this one and hooked before I even started.
Cookie definitely didn't disappoint with this romance and delivered a tamer than I'm use to but still completely enjoyable, fast, fun, cute romance that I read all in one sitting. College romances are a weakness for me.
Honor + Archer = 😍😍
Sweet, steamy, fun, lighter. A storyline that is all kinds of cute. A romance that'll have you smiling, blushing, feeling, and swooning right along with the characters (our mains + secondaries). Archer and Honor were a great match, right from the start, with undeniable chemistry and a journey that was totally unforgettable in a whole lot of ways and moments.
I can definitely recommend this one y'all.

Give this book a chance. It will never feel like a mistake, I can assure you that!
I haven't read a book this good in a long time. After reading and loving Adorkable (I started a BookClub with that masterpiece!), I would never guess she would come up with another excellent story! Nothing could have prepared me for this book. This writer is a flipping genius.
I loved the pace of the story, the people. Omg, the brothers. Those B-R-O-T-H-E-R-S. She completely nailed the description of siblings love ( and hate xD) and family dynamics. They were completely different despite the fact they were raised by the same parents and that, ladies and gentlemen, makes the story even better. They were completely different but they always had their brothers' backs and that made me really happy. I have two sisters and I swear every Christmas I wonder if any of us was adopted because we are completely different. But I wouldn't have them in any other way.
I completely empathized with Honor, since I am a bookworm myself and deal with my own insecurities. This book actually made me think I might have a chance in the crazy thing we call love. I honestly didn't know I needed this story until I read the last paragraph.
I am so glad I found this author a few years ago. She makes my nerd heart happy and didn't you know, being a dork/bookworm might be the new in!

SO SO AMAZING!!! kinda reminds me of the Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy - college romance with funny & lovable characters!!!! on my way to reading book 2, but i'm definitely hoping for a long series with these characters! so interesting and just overall awesome!! <3

Cookie O'Gorman is a new to me author, and I found myself loving this sports romance read so much! It's the story of Honor, who just wants one hot as hell hookup, and she goes out to accomplish it. Only, she ended up in the wrong O'Brien's bed, or did she?! Archer O'Brien has a lot of responsibility on his plate since his brothers won't stop messing up. Archer is the team captain, so in order for the baseball team to succeed, he has to make sure his brothers don't do all kinds of things in excess, and it's a full time job. However, life throws a slider at Archer when Honor ends up in his bed, and boy what an amazing thing to happen to him, hell to her as well since their chemistry is a grand slam. However, getting her to look at it like that will take a minute, but then comes the change up when she's assigned to write about the Wolves Baseball Team, so can he hit it out of the park with Honor?! You'll have to hit those one click buttons to see how it all plays out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I absolutely adored this book! The main character Honor is awkward, witty, smart, and just a completely lovable heroine. She manages to be both afraid and brave at the same time and is full of a ton more contradictions that made her one of my favorites. Then there's Archer, who is an absolutely perfect book boyfriend. He's tough, caring, a protector, and still manages to give off all the alpha vibes that are great in a H without diminishing Honor in any way. Add to that a hilarious meeting and amazing side characters and Cookie O'Gorman has managed to create one of my favorite New Adult College Sports Romances. I love this genre, and I don't mind a good cliche every once in a while, but this genre can sometimes be a bit repetitive and lacking. This book hit all of my favorite things in this genre and the hint at romances for all of the supporting characters will keep me coming back to this series until it's complete. Can't wait for the next in the series!

The Best Mistake was one of the first books I've picked up and finished in weeks.
Due to all this uncertainty my mojo was gone but this book just called to me.
It is cookie's first attempt at the NA genre and albeit it was still rather sweet it still had some seriously intense moments. Both on an emotional and physical level.
However, girl... the ending was sweet but would it kill you to write an epilogue? ;-)
I guess we'll see them pop up if you decide to write about the brothers.
Dex for one peeked my interest.... mister mono syllable and master of the fights...
Chase. Our sweet guy looking for his soul mate...
Just write their books... mkaaay!
Overall an enjoyable, sweet read to escape in the world of fiction, even if only for a few hours. For that I thank you!

Honor is more comfortable with books rather than men but she has decided that it is time for her to experience the social side of college and that begins with a one night stand the only problem is that she ends up in the room of his brother rather than the man she had chosen. Archer is a natural born protector whether it comes to his family or to his team so when he realizes Honor’s mistake they both want to forget the embarrassment of that night that sometimes there is a bigger plan.

Sweet and sexy not only were Honor and Archer perfect together as what started out as a mistake was the best thing to happen to either one of them.

I really liked this book, I was waiting for it before it came out and didn't disappoint. I fell in love with all the characters and I hope they have their book too, it would be a good series.
