I wasn’t the mute darkness before every bad storm. I was what lived in the chaos that followed.

The age of the Reapers has ended.
With the new threat of the Harvesters and the approaching end, the troubles are here to stay.
Barron Reaper, the bearer of wrath, knows that more than anyone. With the sin of rage in his veins, his life is a chaotic mess of gloom. The vicious immortal has never stopped or relaxed a moment in all his years to feel hope. Especially not when another problem arises on top of everything else. An old demon tradition is being brought back on the blood moon.
The worlds are crumbling around his feet, but that doesn’t stop fate from forcing them together.
Gwendolyn Dolson is stuck in a hospital waiting on a chance at life that she will never get when she witnesses a cloaked figure slip through a patient’s door. Seconds later, a man dies in that room.
This dying girl is about to find out how drastically life can change.

Michelle is from a small town in Eastern Kentucky where possums try to blend in with the cats on the porch and bears are likely to chase your pets—this is very true, it happened with her sister’s dog. Despite the extra needed protection for your pets, she loves the mountains she calls home. She has a man and twin girls who are the light of her life and the reason she’s slightly crazy.
As a kid, she was that cousin, that friend, that sister and daughter, the talker who could spin a tale and make-believe into any little thing so it was no surprise when she found love in reading, and figured all these characters inside her head needed an outlet. They wanted to be heard, so she wrote.
The voices keep growing faster than she gets the time to write.
The stories are never going to end. That’s perfectly okay, though. We never want to stop an adventure.
She writes and loves many different genres so sign up to her mailing list to keep updated on her releases!

Enjoyed this just as much as the other books in this series this author is just so amazingly talented and every book I read of hers delivers every single time for me.
Not only has she the ability to craft and weave a narrative that hooks and enthrals the way the heat is cranked up notch by delicious notch is almost a superpower of hers.
Definite auto-buy author now for me.
Each of these stories features a different couple at its centre though they do need to be read in order as there is an ongoing story arc running straight through, conjuring Wrath is book three.
This one is about Reaper Barron who is the keeper of the sin Wrath and Gwendolyn Dolson a young girl in the hospital dying from a congenital heart defect.
As circumstances throw these two together Barron fights it at every turn not only because he believes he doesn't deserve her love but also because he wants to keep her safe from harm including his own.
I adored Barrons grumpy bad-tempered and snarky outer persona that hid what he was really feeling inside.
He is so used to holding all at a distance this has become almost second nature to him.
I loved his inner Wrath especially when it was trying to take care of Gwendolyn.
Despite her young years, Gwendolyn had an old head on her shoulders I think mainly because of her upbringing and subsequent life lessons.
She has accepted the hand she has been dealt and found peace with it, she is altogether more concerned with the people she is leaving behind and their fragile emotions.
She tries to remain optimistic and cheerful and when she sees the hooded figure in her hospital room that nobody else can she thinks she's hallucinating.
Her body may be weak but her mind is strong and from day one Gwendolyn is drawn towards the raging reaper.
This one had a constant push-pull to it that was also tempered by the ongoing storyline.
Though quite slow burn in nature this still had all the heat and when that fuse is finally blown this is pure spontaneous combustion.
This also set up the story brilliantly for the ongoing series and I am really looking forward to continuing here.
Some series lose their momentum after a few, not this one it's all steam ahead and as soon as I finish I want the next book like right away.
There's also the danger of regurgitating the same old thing in these romance series, not here each story felt fresh, each couple having their own personal dynamic that separates them.
This really is a fantastic series and I highly recommend this for all Paranormal romance fans out there.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Conjuring Wrath (Seven Deadly, #3).

Michelle Gross is continuously captivating me with her writing. Conjuring Wrath was every bit as bewitching as the previous book. (I unfortunately did not read Bewitching Sloth which I have to rectify immediately.) It was incredible. The characters were likable and an insanely kickass.

Gwendolyn is in need of a heart transplant and her time is running out. Barron aka Wrath is the reaper that is sent to retrieve her soul but her time keeps on changing but to Wrath’s astonishment- and dismay- Gwen can see him and touch him. He finds her incredibly irritating yet he cannot stay away even though she will be gone soon.

Wrath is someone who cannot control his rage so he considers himself dangerous for Gwen. He does not want any harm to come to her so he tries to stay away from her and by doing so, he is making her feel alone but Gwen is no meek girl and she is wants to show Barron that his Wrath does not control him and will not in fact hurt her.

During this time, they also have to stop the Harvesters from destroying the world. They are growing stronger and seem to be after something or someone so that is another problem Barron has to deal with. He doesn’t want Gwen around when the world is ending.

I adore all the sin siblings. They are hilarious and so damn badass. I’m so pumped for the next book. The little sneak peak at the end has me wanting the next book like right now!

I am in love with this series!

I have been waiting for this book to come, hoping it would be as good as the last two and really eager to continue with the story we have before us. This is Barron's book. Cursed with wrath, he has a bit of an anger problem. He has been that brother in the series that everyone kind of steers clear of because once his curse takes over, nothing is safe. He has killed his siblings on more than one occasion and does so with ease and no remorse. So for this big, cold, stand-offish, character to find his one, I admit I was a bit skeptical. Because how in the world would he find someone he either didn't kill or didn't want to kill him.

Gwendolyn is dying. Literally on her death bed waiting for a new heart when she sees something she should not. While her body has given up on her, all she wants to do is be free. Be free of the pain, be free of the hospital, be free in the world that has been unkind to her. In pops and Reaper and her life is about to seriously change.

Besides this push and pull and at other times highly entertaining tale of Dipples and Mr. Bones, there is still harvesters, the end of the humans and more than one evil bad guy. During the times the Barron was avoiding his destiny you hear and get bits and pieces of this overall story and the demise of the Reapers. There are still many unanswered questions and a whole lot of bloodshed to be had.

I really just can't say enough about this series. The idea is interesting, the story is well-told. The characters are really one of a kind. Gwendolyn, while being a dying human, ended up being pretty bada$$. She tamed the untamable, even when he was being stubborn, mean and killing people (often simultaneously). There are a whole host of other characters that all play an important role and they never seem to get lost in what is going on. Still, one of my favorite PNR series and I'm eager to see what goes "boom" next.

Definitely the best book in this series so far. I loved Barron, Gwen was the sweetest and strongest heroine and I really liked her. Their romance was more of the slow burn kind which I liked and their chemistry was there from the start, despite the soulmate stuff going on their relationship wasn't overshadowed by lust like in the first two books.

I'm waiting for Kitty's book but with the revalation about August I'm looking forward to his book. But Prudence's story is next and from the title I gather she is kind of a virgin?

This series leaves me freaking speechless, I am SUCH a fan of it already and there have only been 4 books so far. It has a magical way of incorporating the characters from the previous book and eluding to what is going to happen in the future ones and it makes me want SO MUCH MORE.

This book spotlights Wrath, Barron Reaper, and his struggle to keep his sin under control. That is until he meets a mortal girl, Gwendolyn, that is like no one he has ever met. Will he be able to figure everything out because a girl that is dying does not have much time, especially not with a reaper.

THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. I honestly cannot say it enough. If you are all about paranormal romances that dip into the 7 deadly sins and reapers and heaven and hell and the devil, you need to read this ASAP. The last series I read in a similar aspect is the Lords of the Underworld, but this series is vastly different from that, but I still eat it up completely. Michelle Gross has incorporated so much humor in these books, but not TOO much if you know what I mean, and a realness and genuineness that you cannot help but fall in love with this family and their quest to stop the devil from rising up and creating the end.

All in all, if you dig hot, ANGRY men that have pure hearts, stubborn women that don't give up, and amazing characters and a kick A plot, this book is right up your alley and I urge you to check it out. 5 outta 5 stars from this girl!

PS: I want to give a huge thanks to Michelle and Enticing Journey Book Promotions for giving me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Hoooot damn! Conjuring Wrath is another hit from Michelle Gross. This is the third installment in her series and is not a standalone. You will need to read the other first. Dont worry. It is well worth it.

This book follows Barron. He gets to meet his match in this new book. What do you picture would be the perfect match for someone so angry all the time? Let me tell you, I did not expect her! I loved how the author did this book.

Each character in this book is so unique. Not just the two main characters. Each minor character has their own voice as well. It really was like watching a movie in my head.

The heat in this book was off the charts. These characters are explosive. I would expect nothing less from wrath himself. You will not be disappointed in this aspect of the book.

Oh the writing style. This author has a way of telling a story. You get fully immersed in this fantasy world. It makes you wanna crawl through the pages and live along side these characters and maybe claim a brother of your own.

In conclusion, I am in love with this series. The next book cannot come soon enough. Each layer pulled back just brings about more questions that make me crazy in a good way. No doubt I have been recommending this series.

“These moments were our truths. Hidden within each encounter was something we both left unsaid...We both had what the other was seeking. What happened if we stayed together? Would we trap ourselves within a new cage?”

With the end of days quickly approaching Wrath finds himself seeking the company of a human destined to die. Unable to interact with others often due to the burden of his sin he can’t help but seek her out and spend time with her. This does not go unnoticed by those plotting to see Harvest win the war and things take a dark turn. Can Wrath save the girl from being another innocent lost in the battle or does she have a larger part to play?

The plot is picking up pace as more is revealed about the marks, the bonding and the curse. Harvest is one devious foe and he seems to have all bases covered. With witches, vampires, demons and all manner of things that go bump in the night convinced he is their new saviour do the Reapers have any chance of stopping him?

Conjuring Wrath may be my favourite so far in the series simply because I fell hard for the sin that gave up his heart on bender knee for a girl who just wanted to fly. The are two halves of a whole, fighting to win a battle they don’t fully understand, whilst believing they are not worthy of love. This series is epic. Fighting to save humanity and their way of life I can’t wait to read what happens next.

A five star “dimples” read.

Conjuring Wrath by Michelle Gross
“Third in the Seven Deadly series, 4 stars”

Gross is back to the Seven Deadly Series and I couldn’t be anymore excited. Gross gives us a warning about an age-gap at the beginning of the book and I found it completely unnecessary. Yes, there was a gap but once you read these two you’ll realize that it really doesn’t matter. I highly enjoyed Conjuring Wrath but I just didn’t love it as much as the first two causing me to give 4 instead of 5 stars.
Gwendolyn accepted long ago that she’s dying. When you have a heart like she does that just doesn’t want to work and you know you wont get another before it gives out you accept it. What she didn’t expect to see before her death was a man cloaked in black. She can feel the anger rolling off of him, but he doesn’t scare her. Will he be the one to lead her into heaven or hell or does the Reaper have another plan in mind?
I really did like Gwendolyn and Barron. I think they worked together flawlessly once Barron got out of his own way. I liked how she also connected with his sin and saw him for who he was before he really did. Then you have the rest of the Reaper family who just kick the story up a notch. I cannot wait to see what Gross does with the rest of the series.

This book was everything I thought it would and more. Wrath is all wrath and nothing will stop his work. Gwendolyn is dying and trying to come to terms with that. When she meets Wrath, she Gia lily understand what it’s like to want. He avoids her at every turn until he can’t. This book is a definite must read. Excellent writing with a storyline that is very explosive.

I have been “patiently” waiting for another Seven Deadly book and the wait is finally over!! Barron the keeper of Wrath meets his perfect woman in this story, but who to pair up with him and his temper? Gwendolyn is sick and dying and trying to come to terms with that. Will he be able to figure everything out in time because dying people don’t have much around a reaper.

Another amazing read !
I love all Grim's kids finding their love and saving the world and everything else. I love that their parents are still in the picture. This book is , like all your other, worthy of more then just five lousy stars.
One complaint though, where the hell are Fear and Molly ? They will cameo, right? RIGHT??

Third book is another great story in this series.
Barron and Gwendolyn is an interesting couple. Wrath was slightly different than his siblings sins, he has developed his own mind and took everything in his own hands regarding his soulmate. It was insta attraction and the insta need to be together, but Barron was so adamant to keep her safe from himself that he was backing off all the time. I thought they didn’t have any communication between themselves as funny as it could be as they were together all the time but not much was told what they needed to know. I as a reader knew everything, sometimes I got confused and realised that these things havent been told in between them, so hurry up and say.
I was not so convinced on the part that only by having sex the Wrath can be eased and Barron didn’t explode in his killing rages… I mean i like when books has smut with the rest of the adventure… but I’m not so sure about this. They were better anyway in first two books. The only thing I kinda liked they finally get together more on the other part of the book not like some at the begging.
Non the less. After now it’s clear that Devil is one of the sisters soulmates and some more drama comes up with August. Was this book too short?! Would love to read more. Still I kinda like when I can finish book in a day and like it. I think Im very impatient lately and need to finish quicker everything. So, to the next.

Hallelujah book 3 and it’s Barron’s story! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 First, go back and read the first two in the Seven Deadly Series promise you won’t be disappointed. Second, prepare your self for a frustrating yet satisfying read. Barron/Wrath is a wonderful, he is moody, mysterious, sexy and yes romantic! I wasn’t sure who exactly would be his perfect match but enter Gwendolyn and I believe I love her more than I do Barron. Her spirit and fight for what she wants really made the book for me. Well and the sexy scenes. We have fighting, demons and Harvest (boo) because it is the end of the world but it’s so much more! I can’t wait to see how it all plays out and to see the other Reapers fall.

Another interesting read in the Seven Deadly series. I loved how Barron/Wrath was trying to be the Reaper for Gwendolyn, and he was confused about the times he spent with her. Her will to live and to survive was uplifting. The two played well against each other, and the steam was off the charts. The main story kept pulling me in also, wanting to see where it all will lead. I recommend this series, and I look forward to the next installment.

I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

Baron/Wrath meets a human woman named Gwendolyn that is unlike anyone he's met before in his life. Gwendolyn is dying and trying to come to terms with it. Wrath needs a mate to be able to deal with his temper and all the other things that come with it. Gwendolyn is the perfect match for him. I also like where the story line is going and look forward to more books in this series.
