Shaping the Industry
William F. Snyder served the Anaheim Area Visitor & Convention Bureau for 24 years, first as executive vice president and then he became president in 1973. During Snyder's tenure, the Anaheim Convention Center's business grew from 92,000 convention delegates in 1968 to more than 1 million.

William was recognized for his leadership and dedication to the highest ideals of visitor industry professionalism, community and client cooperation, and marketing creativity and integrity.
Outstanding Service to Industry Organizations
William served as an officer of the Anaheim/Orange County Hotel & Lodging Association, a non-profit organization formed in 1994 to promote the common business interests of hotels, motels and related businesses and services in the City of Anaheim and throughout Orange County.
William served as a member of the Destinations Marketing Association International’s (DMAI) board of directors from 1980-1981.
