• Get medically screened and processed for Wildland Firefighting
• Take a physical fitness assessment
• Get Sworn in
• Get your questions answered
• Get your firefighting career kickstarted
• This is a volunteer position until you are activated on a mission, then get paid at your rank with hazard pay.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1. Identification/ Proof of Citizenship Documents
2. Athletic Gear for physical fitness evaluation
3. If Prior Service, bring a copy of your DD-214 Long Form
4. COVID-19 Vaccine CDC Card (You may not show up unless you have had at least 1 dose and are waiting to get your 2nd dose)
5. DO NOT DRINK ANY CAFFEINE 24 HOURS BEFORE SHOWING UP !
6. Once you get on Base, you are to report to Building #3. (You can ask the MP at the Gate for Directions)
