CFMA Conference 2024 Agenda

Welcome, our Colorado farmers market community! It is that time of year to register for our Annual CFMA Conference 2024! The conference will be held in Palisade at the Palisade Community Center, with farm tours around Palisade and Grand Junction and a Friday evening Happy Hour in Grand Junction.

Palisade is known as Colorado's wine region and is home to a number of wineries, vineyards, orchards and farms! Grand Junction is one of the largest cities on the Western Slope with a vibrant downtown full of local retail shops, restaurants and breweries!

This year we will be extending the conference once again with sessions beginning the morning of Friday, March 8th and going through mid-day on Sunday, March 10th. We will have two and a half days filled with informative sessions, farm tours, local eats and drinks from the Grand Valley and the opportunity to connect in person with our farmers market community!

Additional Information:

• The CFMA Conference will be in-person only this year. And, if you can't make it to the Conference we will be recording most sessions and the recording will be available for purchase so that you can still take part in it! We hope to see everyone there because it is so valuable to be able to meet in person. But life happens and you will still have the opportunity to view much of the conference via the recording!

• Ticket Pricing: We are implementing a tiered pricing system for our conference this year, to make the conference as accessible as possible for all budgets and income levels while still covering the costs of hosting the conference. Select the tier that makes it possible for you to attend the conference - knowing that tiered pricing works if everyone can assess honestly which tier is most appropriate for them. For this to work, we need as many people to purchase tickets in Tier 3 as in Tier 1 – this way it will balance out, and CFMA can cover our costs for hosting the conference. *Note that CFMA members receive a discount on tickets in all tiers, and EARLY BIRD tickets cost less than regular tickets, in all tiers.

• Scholarship: We want the conference to be available for everyone to attend. This year conference tickets are on a sliding scale - please read the descriptions carefully and select the tier that is appropriate for you and your organization. In addition, limited scholarships are available if cost would be a barrier to attending.

¡Bienvenidos, comunidad de mercados agrícolas de Colorado! ¡Ha llegado el momento de inscribirse para nuestra Conferencia Anual CFMA 2024! La conferencia se llevará a cabo en Palisade en el centro comunitario Palisade Community Center con recorridos por granjas alrededor de Palisade y Grand Junction y un Happy Hour el viernes por la noche en Grand Junction.

Palisade es conocida como la región vinícola de Colorado y alberga numerosas bodegas, viñedos, huertos y granjas. ¡Grand Junction es una de las ciudades más grandes de la vertiente occidental, con un centro vibrante lleno de tiendas, restaurantes y cervecerías!

Este año ampliaremos la conferencia una vez más con sesiones que comenzarán la mañana del viernes 8 de marzo y finalizarán al mediodía del domingo 10 de marzo. ¡Tendremos dos días y medio llenos de sesiones informativas, recorridos por granjas, comidas y bebidas locales del Grand Valley y la oportunidad de conectarnos en persona con nuestra comunidad de mercados!

• Este año la Conferencia CFMA será sólo presencial. ¡Si no puede asistir a la conferencia grabaremos la mayoría de las sesiones y la grabación estará disponible para su compra para que aún pueda participar! Esperamos verlos a todos allí porque es muy valioso poder reunirnos en persona, pero la vida sucede y aún tendrá la oportunidad de ver gran parte de la conferencia a través de la grabación!

• Estamos implementando un sistema de precios escalonados para nuestra conferencia de este año para que la conferencia sea lo más accesible posible para todos los presupuestos y niveles de ingresos, y al mismo tiempo poder cubrir los costos de organizar la conferencia. Seleccione el nivel que le permita asistir a la conferencia - sabiendo que los precios escalonados funcionan si todos pueden evaluar honestamente qué nivel es el más apropiado para ellos.
