Are you ready for camp? Ready to cedar weave, bead with Cowlitz teachers, make medicine, pull the canoe, share stories, learn songs, sit with family - so excited - Cowlitz Landing Property July 22 - 28th - activities for youth, games, and full meals provided. Come on out even if its for a couple of days, Can't wait to see you there!

Tickets are not required for this event, We are just trying to get a round about count for meal planning purposes. You do not need to show proof of tickets upon arrival.

Cowlitz Culture & Canoe Summer Camp

Come as you are able... join us for the day or camp with everyone the entire week!

Camping on-site, all meals provided

All Cowlitz and their guests are welcome

There will be crafting supplies, swimming, kids activities, etc available each day

All times are approximate and subject to change

No sign up necessary for classes listed below, though space may be limited

10 a.m. Canoe departs for practice pull on the water

Beading earring class: Beginner/Intermediate

Drum making

1 p.m. Lunch

2 p.m. Drum-making

4 p.m. Necklace making class

6 p.m. Dinner, drumming, storytelling

Saturday; July 24th

9 a.m. Breakfast

10 a.m. Canoe departs for a practice pull on the water

Building a personal “Herbal first aid kit”, new projects each class!

1 p.m. Lunch

2 p.m. Beaded earring class: Intermediate/Advanced

Painting project (colorful feathers on ceramic tiles, all ages welcome)

4 p.m. Cedar bark weaving

6 p.m. Dinner, drumming, storytelling

9 a.m. Breakfast

10 a.m. Canoe departs for a practice pull on the water

Building a personal “Herbal first aid kit”, new projects each class!
