Join us for the 6th Annual Safety and Cultural Heritage Summit with the theme of control of health and safety hazards in museums, libraries, historic sites, and conservation treatment.

Highlights Include:
- Panel on: Improving visual literacy skills to improve working safely.
- Presentations on: Safe exhibit installation and visitor access; ergonomic challenges in conservation work; creating safe Covid-19 digitization practices for people and material culture; fire retardant coatings best suited to cultural heritage.
- Collection Based Hazard Management studies: Comprehensive hazardous materials team policies, guidelines, and regulatory/licensed training; residual DDT, arsenic, other pesticides in archival/rare book collections; tin-mercury exposure assessment.
- Virtual museum exhibits, including those related to worker health and safety.

On Friday, October 15th, you will be sent information on next steps, including signup for an account to access the virtual seminar space. When you attend this virtual summit, in addition to the meeting presentations, you will be able to network, access additional resources, and take virtual tours!
