Registration questions

You will use an Esri Events account. This new account is not linked to any other Esri or ArcGIS Online account. It will be used to register and sign in to the event portal and Esri Events app.

If you’ve already signed in to the 2024 Esri User Conference (Esri UC) with your ArcGIS Online account to submit content or an exhibitor application, click “Forgot password?” to create your new Esri Events account.

An Esri Events account is a new universal event username and password that can be used for all Esri events. Once you create your new profile, it will be saved into our event management system.

This new profile will replace all previous methods used to sign in, such as your My Esri or ArcGIS Online accounts. Your Esri Events account will streamline signing in and allow you to access all event-related activities, such as

  • Registering for events.
  • Submitting abstracts.
  • Exhibitor applications.
  • Using the Esri Events App.

To create an Esri Events account, you’ll need to provide the following:

Yes, you can register on-site.

Once you submit your registration, you will receive an email confirmation. If we are unable to confirm the information provided, we will reach out to you.

Confirmed registrants who do not participate or who cancel after June 22, will forfeit their entire registration fee, and registrations received after this date will not be eligible for refunds. If you need to cancel due to special circumstances, please email confregis@esri.com with your request for review.

Substitutions for registrants can be made at any time. Esri reserves the right to cancel any event or training if the minimum registration is not met. Esri is committed to protecting the health and safety of our attendees, including exhibitors, employees, and presenters. We follow the established protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local health authorities and ask that all in-person event attendees do the same.

We encourage each individual to make informed decisions about attending our events in the best interest of their health as well as the health of others.

Learn more about our on-site health and safety protocols—visit our dedicated hub site.

Upon request, we can provide a certificate of attendance after the event. Email confregis@esri.com to request your certificate. Unfortunately, we do not offer continuing education credits for attending the Esri User Conference.

Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If you witness or are subjected to inappropriate behavior or have any other concerns, notify an Esri staff member at our Registration Desk as soon as possible. Appropriate action will be taken to ensure that the event maintains a safe and constructive environment for everyone—free of harassment, aggression, and intimidation.

The consequences of such behavior may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Immediate removal from a session or meeting
  • Restricted access to future Esri events
  • Denial of attendance to future Esri events

Esri reserves the right to take any or all of these disciplinary actions as deemed necessary for all events. We ask that all Esri staff and event attendees be mindful of the Esri Code of Conduct for Conferences and Community Spaces during the event.

Accessibility questions

As a global event with a diverse community, Esri embraces and respects the religious affiliations of our community. Attendees have access to a prayer or quiet space to reflect, meditate, and practice their faith at our event. Please visit the Information Desk in the Grand Lobby E of the San Diego Convention Center for the location of and access to the room.

Esri is pleased to offer mother’s rooms for attendees and Esri staff during the event. These rooms are equipped with electrical outlets, seating, and can be secured by key lock. Please visit the Information Desk for the location of and access to a mother’s room or to arrange accommodations if you have any special requirements, such as a need to store expressed milk.

For the safety and security of all involved, all conference sessions, tracks, and exhibits are for registered attendees only, unless otherwise noted. All registered conference attendees must be at least 18 years of age (see information below for attendees traveling with infants).

Infants under two years of age may accompany registered attendees into event sessions, workshops, the Expo, and other activities if the infant is in a carrier and supervised at all times. If the infant begins to fuss or creates a distraction for other attendees in the session, the parent should step out to attend to the infant (please see the Esri Code of Conduct for Conferences and Community Spaces).

Exceptions may apply, so we request that attendees reach out and discuss individual needs with the Esri accessibility team.
