University Brand Voice Guidelines

Brand voice is how we behave as a university. It will be reflected in all we do, the words we write, the images we choose, and how we present ourselves across all of our many communications channels.

This book serves as a guide to help you use our new brand voice. Currently, these guidelines cover our exciting new logos and how to use them, both at CUNY central and across our college network.

University Logos

This is a downloadable archive of frequently used CUNY campaign graphics, and a resource for development of new logos and other graphics.

Each download package contains:

  • CMYK files (ai, eps, jpg and pdf) for print.
  • RGB files (ai, eps, jpg, pdf and png) for the web.

Vector art may be used at any size; please do not stretch, distort, or change the logo in any way in your applications.

Brand Assets

The following resources are provided for your business communications and presentation needs. Please initiate a marketing request for any special needs.

By using a consistent look in your emails, you help strengthen CUNY’s brand identity. Please use the following style guide:

Font: Arial, Size: 10 pt and 10.5 pt (Name), Colors: blue (HEX #0033a1) and black (HEX #000000)
