Berkadia DC Metro Institutional Sales Team Tops $800M in 2024 Transactions

Berkadia DC Metro Institutional Sales Team has closed over $800 million in transactions year-to-date. Despite a 2023 investment volume decline, Senior Managing Director Brian Crivella and Senior Directors Yalda Ghamarian and Bill Gribbin secured $335 million in sales in the past week. The team has over $1 billion in transactions in closing or on the market.

Renter demand has driven up Class A apartment rents in the DC area this year. Northern Virginia led the region with a seven percent year-over-year increase in rents, according to the first-quarter Class A apartment report for the DC region from Delta Associate, the research affiliate of Transwestern.

“The collaborative approach between our investment sales team and our partners on the debt team creates a total capital solution in a volatile market and provides our sellers with transparency and certainty of execution,” said Crivella of Berkadia DC Metro. “We appreciate our clients’ faith in our team to execute in these uncertain times.”
