One man killed, two seriously injured in shooting during argument after birthday party on Cleveland’s East Side

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 19-year-old man is dead, and two other men are seriously injured after a shooting following a birthday party in the city’s Hough neighborhood, Cleveland police said.

The shooting happened about 11:45 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of East 85th Street and Decker Avenue, just south of Superior Avenue in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood, department spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.

Responding officers first found a 19-year-old man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest, Ciaccia said. The second shooting victim, a 38-year-old man, was found one street over with a gunshot wound to his leg, and the third victim – a 26-year-old man – was found several blocks away on Decker Avenue, suffering wounds to his leg and arm.
