CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two East Cleveland police officers arrested more than a year ago on charges accusing them of stealing from a motorist during a traffic stop were indicted on multiple felony aggravated robbery charges on Friday.

A grand jury charged Alfonzo Cole, 34, and Willie Warner-Sims, 31, with four counts each of aggravated robbery, as well as theft in office allegations that accuse them of stealing more than $14,000 in cash, two guns and suspected marijuana from five people between July 2020 and July 2021.
