The Cass Café opens each afternoon, offering a casual setting for a winery meal. The menu features salads, sandwiches, gourmet mac and cheese, and small plates, as well as locally made gelato and house made seasonal desserts.

The menu at Upper Shirley Vineyards’ restaurant celebrates the bounty of the Tidewater region with ingredients sourced from regional farmers, watermen, cheesemakers and purveyors. The menu changes with the season and often includes Southern favorites like pimento cheese, deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes and gulf shrimp and grits.

The Gabriel Archer Tavern, part of the 300-acre Williamsburg Winery complex in coastal Virginia, seeks to provide its guests a delicious and nourishing menu with fresh and seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers and an on-site garden and greenhouse. The wisteria-covered terrace allows a breathtaking view of the vineyards and is an excellent place to savor a glass of the winery’s outstanding product.

The Farmhouse at Veritas Restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining, with a menu crafted by Chef Daniel Zbiegien. Come for a four-course dinner Wednesday through Sunday; sit outside in the Garden House in the summer or next to a fireplace in the winter.

The restaurant at JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery in Paso Robles centers on dishes that celebrate the changing seasons using the best available local ingredients. Courses might include garden asparagus with scotch egg and preserved lemon, olive oil-poached California halibut, dry-aged ribeye with kimchi shallots or goat cheese mousse with local honey and kumquat.
