Sage-Grouse Local Working Groups

The eight local Sage-Grouse Working Groups are comprised of state and federal agency representatives and other stakeholders with local interests such as agriculture, industry, and conservation. These groups work to facilitate and implement conservation plans that benefit the Greater Sage-Grouse, their sagebrush habitat, and other species that also use these habitats.

Local Working Group Meeting Dates

The Bates Hole/Shirley Basin Sage-Grouse Local Working Group will meet on April 2nd from 1pm-3pm at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Regional Office in Casper. The office is located at 3030 Energy Lane. This meeting will be in person only, no virtual option will be provided. The group will discuss project applications submitted for funding.
