ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome everyone!

I am currently an undergraduate student studying exercise science with the concentration in Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, hopeful to graduate May 2023. As someone where diabetes and obesity runs through my family chain my health is very important to me. I created this website like if the person reading was someone I loved sharing as many resources and information needed to make a change. I hope this website can bring you knowledge as well as hope that our generation is working on helping and making the RGV grow to become a better place for all its kind living in it.

This website was created to share more light on the health disparities, especially sarcopenia and diabetes, located in the Rio Grande Valley, aka the RGV. In the "Case Studies" tab you will find different questions about different scenarios with research-based answers on these topics.
