The Velocity business accelerator helps entrepreneurs develop viable businesses rooted in creativity. This 10-week, cohort-based program includes a robust curriculum (with in-person and remote options), skilled facilitators, and a customized mentor team of subject matter experts from every business discipline. Master business basics, solidify your positioning, and refine your pitch for a chance to win a seed stage grant. 

Our program focuses on these 5 creative industries:  

  • Apparel, Fashion, & Design
  • Content Creators, Digital Tools and Media
  • Creative Health Tech, Beauty and Wellness
  • Arts & Entertainment Industry
  • Culinary and Food Innovation

The fee to participate is $1195 and covers: materials, workshops, mentor access, meals, & more! A limited number of scholarships are available for those demonstrating financial need.

Customized Curriculum

The accelerator begins August 13 with a robust curriculum and 4 tracks designed to support creative entrepreneurs take their ventures to the next level.

The cohort will hit the ground running during Kick-off Week from August 13-16 by engaging in workshops, meeting mentors and building their network. 

Weeks 2-9 will focus on engaging with the customized curriculum and the robust mentor team.

The accelerator will wrap up with Velocity Week, October 14-18, where cohort members will work on-site to refine their business models and gear up for Demo Day on October 17 – an opportunity to pitch for the public and learn who will win this year’s seed stage grant!

Put knowledge into practice through marketing, branding, communication and product

Dive into the business components through financials, legal, human resources and more
