MLK 2021: IRC Welcome Center

Following in Dr. King's philosophy of building the Beloved Community, join us at the IRC's Welcome Center. Volunteers will be helping to organize and help the IRC get ready for this next year of service!
Tasks include; organizing the donation room, laying adhesive tile, and moving furniture. No expertise is required, all tools and materials will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dirty.
The IRC Welcome Center serves about 70 people a week, helping them connect with family and loved ones and feeling welcomed and safe in Phoenix.
Volunteers are required to wear masks.
All volunteers should read, print and sign our NEW COVID-19 VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT and review our new Safety Guidelines for Volunteering in Person prior to signing up and attending this project.
Thank you for participating! By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and the volunteer opportunity of much-needed support. We look forward to seeing you at the project!
