Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) is a national health education honorary that provides unique professional and leadership opportunities for Health Education and Behavior majors.

 

At the University of Florida, the ESG chapter is Alpha Lambda. Students can gain experience as a health educator during their studies, while giving back to the campus and Gainesville communities. ESG members are afforded the opportunity to gain experience in health education/health promotion while developing connections and networking skills that will prepare them for future careers in the health field.

ESG's mission is to promote health education through the elevation of standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of professionally prepared students.
