Whole Woman's Health Alliance

Whole Woman’s Health Alliance (WWHA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to providing holistic reproductive care for our patients, including abortion care and to provide advocacy and education for all in order to eradicate abortion stigma. We believe every woman deserves the compassion, respect, and dignity of being able to safely and legally end a pregnancy.  At WWHA, we put patients first and we stand in the light alongside them, revolutionizing the conversation around abortion in this country. 

WWHA currently offers abortion care at our two nonprofit clinics, Whole Woman's Health of Minnesota and Whole Woman's Health of Charlottesville, (Note: The fall of Roe v. Wade forced the closure of WWHA’s clinics in Austin, TX and South Bend, IN but we are currently working to relocate them in nearby haven states).   

In addition to providing compassionate care to the patients we serve in our clinics, Whole Woman's Health Alliance is also engaged in thought leadership, communications, community partnerships,  advocacy, and purposeful litigation, all centered on shifting the stigma around abortion and maintaining access to safe, quality care. WWHA, as an independent direct services abortion provider brings a distinctive and vital viewpoint to advocacy and communication efforts, both nationally and at the state and local level. WWHA engages in advocacy and coalition work with our partner organizations in order to help them also push back against existing and emerging abortion regulations, always with the goal of making essential healthcare accessible to all, regardless of where they live.

Specifically, our advocacy work in Minnesota includes attending Reproductive Freedom Lobby Day at the state capitol, participating in Get Out The Vote efforts on National Voter Registration Day in our clinics, and establishing Abortion Provider Appreciation Day in Minneapolis/St.Paul. These are just a few examples of the way Whole Woman's Health Alliance works to eradicate abortion stigma.

As our Founder and President, Amy Hagstrom Miller said after the fall of Roe v. Wade, "We are still here and we'll keep fighting like hell against the anti-liberty, anti-family, anti-rights extremists responsible for this monstrous attack on the people, families, and communities we serve until their full rights and access to the care they need have been restored and rebuilt."
