What’s Happening
BSD is currently in the process of selecting a new elementary school curriculum to recommend to the School Board for adoption in the content areas of Language Arts and English Language Proficiency. An important part of this process is community input from staff, parents and community members.
It’s time to think about pre-kindergarten! BSD is excited to announce the expansion of our pre-K programs. Here’s a list of our pre-K sites for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year:
Beaverton School District and Portland Community College (PCC) have entered into a direct admissions agreement to seamlessly admit all graduating seniors from Beaverton High School (BHS) and Early College High School (ECHS). This pilot program will allow BHS and ECHS seniors from the 2024-25 school year to be directly enrolled at PCC, starting in the fall of 2025.
As part of the budget process for the 2024-2025 school year, we’re looking for your input.
As we communicated to you in November, the district will be adopting a new schedule for school start and end times — what we refer to as our “bell schedule” — for next school year.

"At Beaverton School District, all students belong. We embrace, honor and celebrate our differences — race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and language. We're committed to eliminating the structures, policies and practices that perpetuate inequalities in our schools and causes these differences to become predictors of future success. At BSD, all students are learners, capable of limitless possibilities.”
