CHICAGO — The results are in, and the honorees of Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) Fastest 50 Class of 2022 are available for viewing on the TSE Fastest 50 honoree list. Included on the list are the Fastest 50 By Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space, By Exhibiting Companies and By Total Attendance, as well as the Next 50 for the same three categories.
The Fastest 50 list recognizes the 50 fastest-growing shows in each category of metrics tracked by TSE’s Research Department and through submissions. The Next 50 is the group of shows that were right on the heels of the Fastest 50 but did not crack the top 50.
“Coming off of a year when shows were just returning to in-person events, we expected to see considerable growth across the board in 2022 and shows spanning all industry sectors certainly delivered with unprecedented growth,” TSE Director of Research Carri Jensen said. “We haven’t seen growth rates of this magnitude in the history of Fastest 50.”
The Fastest 50 Class of 2022 grew 82.8% in net square feet, 76.5% in number of exhibiting companies, and 88.2% in total attendance. Roughly one-third of the shows on each metric list – net square feet, number of exhibiting companies, and total attendance – grew by triple-digits, and the remaining Fastest 50 shows grew by double-digits larger than 41%.
Honorees are invited to the TSE Fastest 50 Awards & Summit May 1-3, hosted by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The event will offer various networking opportunities and a robust educational summit featuring a keynote, panel discussions and presentations from the trade show industry’s thought leaders and show organizers.

Some of the Fastest 50 honorees include the ACI-NA Annual Conference & Exhibition from Airports Council International – North America, InfoComm USA from the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), Greenbuild International Conference & Expo from Informa Connect, Cosmoprof North America from USA Beauty, LLC, and MODEX from MHI.
At the Fastest 50 Awards Gala, the Grand Award winners will be revealed, highlighting the shows of 2022 that experienced the highest rate of growth over 2021. The TSE Trailblazers program was reestablished this year, and the Trailblazers will be invited to the event and to the main stage to share the spotlight in recognizing the up-and-coming innovators of the industry at the Awards Gala. The TSE Trailblazers program is now accepting nominations.
The last edition of the Fastest 50 honored the fastest-growing shows of 2019, which included Apparel Sourcing USA from Meese Frankfurt, FIBO USA from RX, HydroVision International from Clarion Events and International Roofing Expo from Informa Markets. The 2023 Fastest 50 Awards & Summit marks the first time since the pandemic that the event will be held.
